Pre: Musgo Really Glyce Soap
Brush: Thater 4125/3 2 Band
Soap: Barrister & Mann 42
Razor: iKON Tech on OSS handle
Blade: GSB (3)
Post: Myrsol Plastic Shave

Well, I didn't believe it but the legend is true. What a close shave! The Tech is really flexing its muscles now. The first time it's shaved closer than the R41, although I do bear the scars. First couple of passes (WTG and XTG) were so close I should have stopped there with a touch up. I'm off to school camp tomorrow and not taking any shave gear (won't have time or space) so went for the third pass. Possibly a mistake as my neck can attest. I have a sense that the blade gave up on me during that pass. This razor (like the R41) is hard on blades and maybe 2 shaves is the limit. Weirdly, despite a nick and a fair few weepers, that was a very satisfying shave. The Tech showed me what it was made of and I learned a lot.

Pre: Myrsol Antesol
Brush: Rudy Vey Shavemac 2 band
Soap: Tabula Rasa Cardamom
Razor: ATT S1
Blade: Vintage Polsilver
Post: alum, witch hazel, TSW Balm, Myrsol Plastic Shave

Many thanks to @Psmith for the pointers about keep going at it and load more water onto the face lather. Finally, I managed a pretty decent lather out of the Tabula Rasa. Thick and creamy. I added little water and I keep face lathering. Took a while to get the lather going, but it was worth it.

Shave was sensational, two pass with touch up using this blade and razor set up. No nicks nor irritation. Very happy today.

Finished off with the usual suspects and the Myrsol Plastic Shave today. Fantastic face feel and the price for a bottle isn't too demanding. Love the Myrsols.

Mastro Livi CarboInox Snake Razor, 8/8 Full Hollow, Snake Point

Whenever I shave with this Mastro Livi CarboInox Snake Razor, I cannot help thinking about the day Mastro Livi made this razor for me while I was shooting the video of the making. It took a whole day, from morning to early morning of the day after - I remember I was home at around 7:00AM of the day after - but it has been worth every minute I spent there while watching Mastro Livi making this masterpiece. This Snake Razor delivers a heavenly shave, a pleasure added to the amazement of watching such a piece of art. For today's shave I used one of my favorite shaving soaps - Martin de Candre - a super performing soap, capable of making a luxurious, creamy and smooth lather with just a very tiny quantity to be loaded in the brush while being capable of holding a good quantity of water. A special mention goes to the shave brush, a lovely gift a friend of mine - Roberto - made for me and in which has been mounted a wild badger loft, with a lovely handle made of black locust.

Pre: La Toja soap, Myrsol Antesol and Emulsion
Brush: Simpson Chubby 2 Super Badger
Soap: Penhaligon Blenheim Bouquet
Razor: Feather AS-D2
Blade: PSI (1)
Post: Myrsol Antesol and Emulsion
EdT: Penhaligon Blenheim Bouquet.

I had a preconceived impression that the Penhaligon's soap would smell great, but be a second tier performer. The first part was right, but I was so wrong on the performance.
This soap was a excellent performer - lots of slickness, cushion and glide. Also great post shave feel. This was a new puck, and if it behaves in a similar manner to my other English triple-milled soaps, it still has some improvement to come.
I'm loving the Polsilver Super Iridium blades - they are more forgiving that Feathers, but still give a very close shave.
Just had to finish off with the matching Blenheim Bouquet fragrance - pretty much my favourite.
Watching the Olympics with my mug feeling fantastic.

Blade: Vintage NOS Schick Platinum Plus (7)

A nice spicy start to the week with an excellent lather from the Cheshire and the scents of both soap and aftershave working perfectly alongside the post shave balm from Chatillon Lux.

Two day growth removed with ease and satisfaction. Three enjoyable passes. The Davidoff Cool Water is a good match for the Mystic Water Irish Traveller.

Lesson for the day (which I'm sure I've learnt before). If you drop something sharp, DO NOT try to catch it. Great shave today, however paid in blood.

Shave from last night.

Pre: Myrsol Antesol
Brush: SOC
Soap: MdC
Razor: ATT S1
Blade: Vintage Polsilver
Post: alum, witch hazel, TSW After Balm, Myrsol Agua Balsamica

First pass lather was amazing. During the third, it shows that I might have underloaded a little.

Other than that, shave was great. A nick or two ouchie. Finished with my favourite scented Myrsol.

What is the Occams brush like @todras? Have you got another which it compares to?

It's particularly soft, not having much of a backbone. I picked it up on a whim when ordering some of Darcy's soaps as my skin irritates very easily so in that regard I always go for soft brushes and he mentioned to me that he has the same issue with skin sensitivity. I have a CH1 in Super which is not as soft as the Occams if that is any comparison. It is a great brush to hold sitting a little taller than the CH1 but due to the softness it can be a pain to load hard soaps with relatively speaking.

Razor: Vintage Gillette 'Fatboy' Adjustable (5)
Blade: Vintage NOS Schick Platinum Plus (8)
Brush: Vintage butterscotch Simpson 'The Duke'
Soap/Cream: Phoenix & Beau - Spitfire Shaving Soap
Aftershave: Soap Commander - Integrity Balm
Cologne: Miller Harris Feuilles De Tabac

Oh, @Kerry@Phoenix&Beau, how I love your Spitfire soap.

I notice on your website you indicate 'Solid cologne range - provisional 30th September 2016, price TBC' - I am SOOO hoping that this include the Spitfire scent and being a solid product it might be able to be posted world-wide..

The Miller Harris finishes this combination off so well!

Lovely day for a trip north :)

Preshave: Musgo Real Glyce soap and Proraso preshave cream sandalwood
Razor: Weber Polished Head on an Ikon handle
Blade: Vintage Polsilver(10)
Brush: Kent BLK8
Soap: Henri et Victoria Absinthe
Post Shave: Natio Balm and St Johns Bay Rum(sample generously supplied by @Draco Noir )
The Vintage Polsilver has reached the end of the line for me but it was magnificent for ten shaves. Three pass shave with a touch up tells me that the sharpness has declined too far for me but still so smooth. Amazing blades. The Henri et Victoria is excellent in both scent and performance. The St Johns Bay Rum is a very sophisticated bay rum. Certainly a bay rum but subtle and more refined than most bay rums I have smelled. Great on the face.
