//LA Toja Pre Shave Soap//Simpson CH1//Progress,3.0,Feather//La Toja Shave Cream//After Balm//La Toja Agua de Colonia

Woke early this morning having a fair few things to do during the day and found myself feeling the La Toja vibe...

This is actually a very well made shave cream and enjoys a high level of popularity for a reason, despite it being very low cost. I picked mine up from Con's store, if you ever feel like something different with the all important level of performance then I urge you to give it some consideration. The La toja products have very unique and unusual scents but they work particularly well. The Aftershave is quite a good one actually, it is a slightly sweet, musky but woody scent that endures for a fair while - It says Manly without being too bold and overstated.

The usual 2 pass, WTG and XTG and plenty of time to enjoy the unique and rather pleasant scent of the cream. The mineral enrichment in the cream (whatever that may be exactly) and the soap composition itself leaves a very decent and heavily moisturised post shave feel. My skin is quite sensitive in a generally and this last week of windy dry weather has really knocked it about, despite ensuring I kept it fairly well moisturised. I never throw alcohol directly onto my skin as my face tends to hate it, what I do however is first use a decent post-shave balm, be it neutral or a paired scent prior to using an alcohol based splash - this way I get the moisturising, there is a barrier between the alcohol and my skin and I get to enjoy the aftershave scents.

An altogether agreeable and enjoyable start to Sunday, time to savour a few more cups of good quality, well made coffee.

Have a great day Gentlemen, enjoy your shaves!

Great write-up @todras. I use a balm prior to an A/S splash for the very same reason.

Brush: Omega
Cream: SH Lilacbthingy
Razor: slim
Blade: Vintage Personna
Post: Aqua Velva
Not a nice shave for some reason. Blade was only on it's second shave (albeit the first was on almost a weeks growth) but felt quite rough and the aqua velva at the end stung like Muhammed Ali.

Pre-Shave: Cypriotian Olive/Argan Oil soap, cold water
Razor: Weber PH UFO Titan Fine L
Blade: Ladas (1)
Brush: Rudy Vey Shavemac
Lather: Mike's Lemongrass & Eucalyptus
Post-shave: Alum, Barrister & Man Kyovu Original, South Australian Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil

What a wonderful Sunday shave - maybe not perfect, but a cup of nice coffee with some fantastic Mike's lather (picture here) certainly made it the perfect journey!

Ready for the Adelaide Meet-up - I hope you all have a great Sunday

Some very different but great shots, thinking of @FatBoy58, @nsavage and @alfredus

Came here to say the same thing, some really nice photography and textures in those pictures, excellent composition and the objects themselves are also very beautiful.

Razor: Weber PH UFO Titan Fine L

That is an obscenely nice piece of kit my friend, I'm sure its as rare as hens teeth and necessitated you pulling an all nighter possibly utilising SWIFT banking to secure the piece or some such. (y)

Cracking show today gents all of you, a real pleasure to see.

Brush: Plisson Synth
Razor: Merkur 37c
Blade: Merkur
Soap: Klar
A/S: Mennen Skin Bracer

A quick and easy shave today. First use of Klar and as @Mark1966 said in his review it certainly does live up to its hype, although I can see why some don't like the scent but I enjoyed it.
