Pre-Shave: - Shower & Musgo Real Classic Scent Pre-Shave Oil Soap
Brush: - Whipped Dog Silvertip in Resin Handle 24/48mm
Lather: - The Body Shop Maca Root Shave Cream
Razor: - RazorRock Old Type Open Comb
Blade: - Vintage Polsilver Stainless #6
Post Shave: - Alum Block / Nivea Sensitive Aftershave Splash & Post Shave Balm

A quick 2 pass shave before bed tonight not bad for the Vintage Polsilver Stainless has reach up too 6 shaves on my RazorRock Old Type Open Comb, suddenly while I was shaving I felt a small tugging and this mean the blade is going in the bin very happy with the Vintage Polsilver Stainless.

Now, I still have a pack of Trig blades from the sampler...dare I try them?

OMFG why did none of you warn me?!

I opened the sample pack tonight - the fact that a 10-pack had only 8 blades in it was an omen, but I shrugged it off. I did one pass, blade was grabby from the start, and I felt like I hadn't had a shave. Took the blade out and binned it. I took the remaining 7 blades and binned them. I've never had to change a brand new blade mid-shave before. Could have used a rusty lawn mower blade and been better off...

Pre: Myrsol Antesol
Brush: Rudy Vey Shavemac Custom
Soap: B&M Seville
Razor: Standard
Blade: Feather
Post: alum, witch hazel, TSW After Balm, Myrsol Agua Balsamica

I'm glad to say that I think I am starting to make peace with this brush. Lather was nothing short of amazing, just needed more water. Plenty of lather for three passes.

Great shave tonight. Enjoy!

Pre: La Toja soap, Myrsol Antesol and Emulsion
Brush: Simpson Chubby 2 Super Badger
Soap: Le Pére Lucien Traditional
Razor: Feather AS-D2
Blade: Vintage Schick Plus Platinum (6)
Post: Myrsol Antesol and Emulsion
A/S: Myrsol Agua Balsamica

LPL soap - beautiful. Gotta work up a decent proto-lather, but it is a great soap. Three pass DFS. The herbaceous notes of the Agua Balsamica were a natural match for the LPL.

Razor: Vintage Leresche #77
Blade: Vintage NOS Schick Platinum Plus (5)
Brush: Vintage Butterscotch Simpson
Soap/Cream: Henri et Victoria - Cognac and Cuban Cigars
Aftershave: Barberry Coast Shaving Co - Havanna Splash
Cologne: Miller Harris Feuilles de Tabac

Early shave, the Leresche did well again, I could get used to one of these. Wanted a full experience with cologne today. Last meeting as a trustee/director of an organisation I've been involved with in various ways for 25 years. You know you are getting old when the events are 'lasts' and retirements rather than 'firsts' and new appointments!

Happy Friday guys :)

Pre: Occam's Original Pre-shave
Brush: SJOL 28mm ST
Razor: ATT Colossus R1
Soap: Mystic Waters - Coconut Sandalwood
Balm: Geo F Trumper - Sandalwood Skin Food
Splash: Ogallala Bay Rum - Bay Rum & Vanilla

A great shave to round off a really busy week, very much looking forward to the weekend.

Excellent lather and plenty of cushion from the Mystic Waters, the post shave feel really being enjoyable and the scent of the soap itself lingering even over the Ogallala which is very impressive.

Shave well, Gentlemen :)

Pre: Shower
Soap: Soap Commander "Purpose"
Brush: Omega Boar
Blade: Rapira Super Stainless (1)
Razor: iKon X3
Post: Alum, Striling "Island Man", TSW After Balm

Much better shave this morning with the Rapira blade!
Whipped up an amazing lather with the soap commander following @alfredus method.
Everything worked like it should this morning, and I'm a very happy camper! :D

Pre-Shave: Shower
Razor: Edwin Jagger Kelvin
Blade: Polsilver SI (4)
Soap/Cream: The Shaving Shop - La Habanne Aromatica Tobacco-Vetiver
Brush: Maggard Razors
ASB: The Stray Whisker After Balm
Cologne: Boss Bottled Intense
Post-Routine: hot rinse, alum, cold rinse, balm, cologne

Excellent shave! Plenty of very slick and cushion lather with enough residual slickness. Great post-shave feel. The more I use Charky's soaps the more I like them. Hopefully they'll be available at TSW.

Pure Class mate. Piacenza is my new Razo Rock 'XXX' replacement.

You know a razor is good when you use it on the day of special events -when you've used it only a handful of times! [emoji6]

Enjoy your special day! Nice shave indeed.

Nice shave mate. Good to see the J'man soap getting lots of love. [emoji41]

A characteristically classy shave from The Ozzman.

Brush: Chubby 2
Razor: EJ89
Blade: Timor
Cream: GFT Limes
A/S: GFT Skinfood and Wahl Bay Rum

Not the shave I had originally planned today, I was going to use Mystic Waters Bay Rum but when I put the loaded brush to my face I experienced what I can only describe as hellfire on my skin. Never had anything like it happen before but there was no way I could shave with that so a quick change to GFT and all was great again.
