Pre: Valobra Glycerlanolina soap, Myrsol Antesol and Emulsion
Brush: Simpson Chubby 2 Super Badger
Soap: Penhaligon's Blenheim Bouquet
Razor: ATT Kronos open comb M2
Blade: Vintage Gillette Spoiler (7)
Post: Myrsol Antesol and Emulsion
EDT: Penhaligon's Blenheim Bouquet

Ahh - the scent of Blenheim Bouquet. It always makes me smile as the bright citrus notes arise from the soap. A luxurious lather was formed and a comfortable 3 pass DFS+ was the end result.
Whilst the blade still feels great, it is just starting to lose a wee bit of efficiency, so I'll reload next time out.
Staying in the Blenheim vibe, finished off with the matching EDT.

From the great lather to the wonderful smell of the soap as it lathered in to thick, buttery creamery goodness absolutely no complaints with this mornings shave. Took some extra time it being Sunday morning to savour the smell of the man's work. The usual two passes WTG XTG with the Feather rendering it's services admirably, washed up with a little warm and then some cold then on with the Easterly Breeze that sits alongside the Jabonman exactly as it should.

I say, have a cracking day you chaps! :)

Really enjoy Tabac. I would say my favourite non-artisan although I haven't used that many non-artisanal.

This blade is impressing. 5 or 6 shaves in and still going strong. Maybe I'm used to DE blades giving up the ghost after 4 shaves.

Pre - Hot towel
Brush - Semogue 620
Soap - P&B Citra Royale
Razor - Bengall/ Edwin Jagger Kelvin
Blade - Polsilver Super Iridium (2)
Post Shave - Alum, TSW After Balm

Managed to do nearly a full 2 pass shave with the straight tonight for the first time. :) I got quite close to a socially acceptable result, but have to admit that I did skip my adam’s apple. Finished it up with a clean up pass with the DE.

I have been struggling with tugging during the first pass with the straight, but a wise shaver helped me realise that I wasn’t stretching my skin enough. Big improvement! (y)

Blade angle can also be a culprit. Always err on the side of lower.

Bloody classy Tom, love it (y)

Single pass one and done tonight as I was not feeling flash. Excellent lather and super close shave from the 6/8" Japanese near wedge I ran over the hones today. The shave from a near wedge is very interesting. Compared to a full hollow there is just a smooth and silent wipe across the face as the hefty blade provides a genuine DFS on the first pass. I haven't been a fan of a wedge style razor up until now but the shave is super smooth.

Perma-sharp
Brush - TF 26mm Silvertip
Soap - RPS Command Presence
Aftershave - RPS Command Presence
Balm - APR choix Alfredus
First run with the Gillette flare tip and found it to be a very smooth shave. I am really liking the scent from the Reef Point Soap and splash and it seems to linger for a long time after the shave which I like. Also liking the smooth clean feel of the Permasharp blades too. No introduction required for APR choix Alfredus loving this balm and must get around to getting a few of the others ;) This is about my 3rd shave using the new TF Silvertip brush and loving it. No problems loading the brush now and also having enough lather for 3 or 4 passes now which is great. What more can I say except another fine afternoon shave (y)

Razor: ATT Kronos open comb M2
Blade: Vintage Rotbart Platinveredelt (1)
Post: Myrsol Antesol
A/S: APR White Tea and Ginger Balm

Love my Tabula Rasa soaps - perform well and the scents are off the chart.
When accumulating vintage blades from Europe, I've scored a few vintage German Rotbart blades. Thought I'd give one a run, and wow! Super sharp and smooth; reminded me of the vintage English Gillette Platinums.
A 3 pass shave with a cleanup for a BBS result. A couple of tiny weepers on the neck, which I always seem to get with the very sharp blades.
Thought that the APR White Tea and Ginger balm would compliment the soap. What a great scent this is. Really refreshing and soothing - great work again, @todras!

Mastro Livi KamiRazor

Sunday shave is always special because I usually have more time to spend on it, so I can plan it carefully, spending more time choosing a soap, aftershave and the rest. This time I opted for this Mastro Livi KamiRazor in CarboInox and Abalone scales, that is a kamisori blade mounted on scales. It was quite a long time I was not using Valobra soaps: today I saw the jar in which I am keeping it and I thought it was the time. I remembered it is a soap I like and my memories were right. As I was using an Italian soap, the aftershave had to be Italian as well. A glance at the aftershave bottles and I opted for Pino Silvestre, a classic Italian fragrance of old times. It was a very good shave, after all.

Wow - never thought, I'd miss my brushes so much...not a bad shave for being on the road though.

Very cold here, no sun and even a bit of snow - fantastic! And took the picture and posted all from my mobile - finally arriving in the 21st century (y)
