Suds: MWF / Omega S10108
Salve: Floid Blue
That Wilky is one of the best blades I've ever used, DE or otherwise. Comfort and sharpness in one. I eagerly await tomorrow's shave. I might have to source some more of this vintage goodness. It'd been ages since I'd dusted off the ol' Flare Tip. What an outstanding razor!
I'm on a bit of a Floid Blue binge at the moment. Can't get enough of the stuff.
What's your thought's on the Junior as a razor
VP Leonhardy shaving brush
Caties Bubbles La Terre Verte
Gillette Aristocrat Junior
Gillette Super Stainless (5)
Barbasol Pacific Rush aftershave
Sorry for the lack of posting. Third shave in a row with the LTV, lovely scent. I recently picked up this razor in a local antiques shop. It's a nice smooth shaver.
Face Wash : Shower
Pre-Shave : Myrsol Emulsion
Brush : Shavemac Custom Silvertip
Soap : Catie's Bubbles - Un Jour Gris
Razor : Zubari Hoshimasa #1
After Shave : LaRoche-Posay Lipikar, Terre d'Hermes
Just another perfect Sunday shave... I approached the shave in a very relaxed mood today - even decided to put on some music for the exercise. I have no prior experience with Catie's Bubbles, but have been mildly unimpressed with the descriptions of most of the fragrances. This one, Un Jour Gris has a wonderful fragrance and a wonderful texture. Big thanks to @Lifes a Peach for his kindness in choosing this soap for me The lather is certainly im
I have noticed around the traps that the EJ 89 is a pretty popular weaponBrush: Simpsons M7

I like it. It's like an HD rocket but with a heavy base plate like the other Aristocrat razors, that makes it a bit head heavy which seems to make it a little more efficient than some of the other Gillette TTO models. It's still mild feeling on the face though. Worth a go if you find one for a reasonable price and about as good a shave as the other aristocrat razors without the large price tag but you don't get the pretty handle. What's your thought's on the Junior as a razor
It's the cosmetic aspect as u in part pointed to that let's it down some I think can't put a finger on it needs a little more ornate in the handle to appeal moreI like it. Please let's not forget these small detailsBrush: Simpsons MANCHURIAN M7
You should post more often a picture @bald as ...really nice!
Now that's a weapon with an awesome ornate design
@Robbie d has really done a great job of crafting this blade. It did feel a bit medieval to begin with but the balance and performance are stellar. It very quickly became just right - balance and face feel as whiskers surrendered. An easy daily shaver. Along with --------- all the others
@SpeedyPC ,I have been watching this only for the brush. It is a really good deal but I already have the exact same scuttle.
So go for it
