@alfredus - that photo is a killer my friend. It wouldn't look out of place on the front cover of an expensive glossy magazine for men. Beautiful work (y)
You are way to kind @Draco Noir - thank you!

As good as it gets...

Pre:
Myrsol Pre-Emulsion
Brush: Simpson Duke 3
Soap: I Coloniali Mango Oil
Razor: Gillette Fat Handle Tech (on loan, thanks @FatBoy58 )
Blade: Polsilver Super Iridium
After: Thayers and Floid Vigoroso

It's been ages since I have shaved with a Tech. My thanks to @FatBoy58 for loaning me this absolute stunner!
Cleaned up and gleaming just like all of Fatboy's collection. This photo does it no justice.
This razor is super mild but WOW it is super efficient! Silky glide but it was as close to BBS than you can get.
With special thanks to @Draco Noir for putting me onto Myrsol Pre-Emulsion. Can't start the morning ritual without it.
Fantastic picture @Lifes a Peach - I want to take that razor for a spin!!!

GFT Skin Food
Omega 48
DR Harris Lavender
Polsilver Super Iridium
iKon B1 Slant
Alum, Thayers WH, Aesop Moroccan Neroli

I really like the omega 48, and give it more time it would become even better when it's ends are all fully flayed.
Another great shave today, great lather paired off with a great blade, BBS shave. A nick or two there, but it's no biggie, I was careless with the slant.

SOTD
G FB 58 D4
Vodskhod Blade
Simpson Wee Scot
(If you ain't got one of these in your Den you should have this little brush will just amaze and stand tall against any full size Badger)
Icoloniali Shaving Cream ( On loan from Lifes a Peach) Now Lather was easy required a fair bit of water to get it to bloom but it did and did it well, application was good with firm and lustrious cushion, passes were good on a scale of slickness 8.5 out of 10, during the shave found the lather a little tingly on the skin, post feel skin a little dry for me.
Floid Blue A/S I just can't get enough of this stuff love the scent, love the application feel of it.

Shave today out of 10 is a 7.5

Thank you, my friend :) It's such a joy to shave with.

I agree. The only razor I have had replated thus far is that very same tech. I now have it in rhodium. Talk about stunning!

I just wish the handle were a bit heavier...

Unfortunately it's currently on loan to my 14 year old nephew who I'm trying to win over early to wetshaving. That punk better look after it ;)

Razor: Weber Polished Head on Bulldog Handle
Blade: Personna 'Lab' Blue (2)
Brush: Vintage butterscotch Simpson 'The Duke'
Soap/Cream: D R Harris Marlborough Shave Soap

Interrupted this morning - so no aftershave or cologne, I forgot! Feel naked.

It. Is. Just. Not. Right.

Preshave : PAA Ice preshave soap
Razor: Standard
Blade: Dorco Prime Platinum(2)
Brush: Semogue 1305
Soap: B&M Ferox
Post Shave: Dickinson's Witch Hazel, Nivea Balm and Old Spice AS
Two pass shave with a clean up. The Standard razor and I are getting along very well. Having described it as an aggressive razor and following a discussion with @Lifes a Peach I think the correct term would be efficient. There is no blood bath but the razor allows the blade to do its job very efficiently. The Dorco blade performed the same as yesterday and is much better in this razor. The soap is excellent with a pleasing scent. All in all a damn fine shave.

Face Wash : O Melhor exfoliant pre-shave soap
Pre-Shave : Myrsol Emulsion
Brush : Shavemac
Soap : Mystic Water - Bay Rum
Razor : Kamisori - Cedric Christ Fixe 7/8"
After Shave : La Roche-Posay Lipikar, Floid Blue EDT

After a bit of an "on the edge" shave yesterday I decided to dial the excitement factor back a few notches and boost the comfort factor. Started with my (by now) pretty standard prep - and yes, @Lifes a Peach I'm right with you there : I don't feel my shave is complete without Myrsol Emulsion being a part of it.

Lather was whipped up courtesy of the Shavemac/Mystic Water combination - pretty hard to beat. It took me quite a long time to "bond" with the blue Shavemac brush. @Lifes a Peach convinced me to persevere with it : after borrowing it for a while he told me it was something special in the face lathering department. Now that it has loosened up and is properly run in, it's a pleasure to use and does a brilliant job : it's a recommended brush (y)

I'm having trouble keeping away from the Cedric Christ Kamisori at the moment - it is just soooo great to shave with. In complete contrast with yesterday's Kenwa Kamisori, it is more comfortable and predictable, while still being smooth, laser sharp and packing a fair bit of forgiveness. After one pass with it, I felt that I was very close to finished, and that I could easily get away with just a bit of spot control. However, that's forgoing an entire pass which I didn't want to do so I lathered up again and finished off correctly.

A very small application of moisturiser followed by a splash of Floid Blue EDT finished off another sublimely enjoyable shave :)

I like the look of that brush handle @Draco Noir. It always bores me how many handles are faux ivory when technology allows us to make far more interesting colour combinations.
I had always planned to buy a New Forest brush from Fido for that very reason, but never got around to it before he shut up shop.

Oh, and BOT
Razor: FB Exec
Brush: Omega 10005 (I know wood is almost as boring as faux ivory)
Soap: Shaver Heaven Eucalyptus and Lavender
Blade: Vintage Gillette of some kind (I think - it's been nearly a month so I can't be sure)
A/S: Aqua Velva splash.

I don't normally like lavender scents - they just don't work for me up here, but this is a pleasant surprise as it works well with the eucalyptus, and isn't too sweet. I would like it with a good dash of menthol, but will just have to work out how to add that myself. Soap lathers as well as any other that @Anthony makes - which is to say very well.

The only slight let down was the blade, which I have been thinking needs to be changed for a couple of shaves now, but after today's shave, it definitely needs to be swapped out. Felt quite rough although I've still ended up with a nice close shave.

Noticed someone mention the fabled P74's a couple of days ago, and am thinking I might have to dip into my meagre stash of them soon as it's been a long time since I have used a 20+ shave blade.

Pre-Shave: Occams pre-shave soap
Razor: 1950's Fukutaro Tanifuji 6/8 Hollow
Brush: Semogue 1800
Lather: Wickhams Super Smooth - English Rose
Post-shave: Thayers with Aloe
Scent: Brut 33

Every time I pull out the Brut I feel, I dunno, bogan or something but hey, I love the smell so don't judge me!
Brush... I'd love to know if there is more breaking in to do because the tips are soft but could be softer...
Razor... All I am going to say is stropping looks dead simple and easy but it is not. I know I have done damage to the edge on this razor with poor stropping. It just doesn't do the job as well as it did 7 days ago. I feel like an uncoordinated gumby but I am getting better at it. There is a lot going on with x-strokes, keeping the blade flat, rolling on the heel and moving before the edge lands, getting the pressure right - ie none.
Soap... Awesome!

Result - 8 out of 10. BBS (DFS on the neck) but I feel like my face has been scraped, not shaved. See comment re stropping.

@Sxot your brush boar brush gets good reviews. A boar brush gets better as the bristle tips split and that happens over about 20 - 50 regular shaves. You can help that along especially in this hot weather by using either shaving soap or hair shampoo and lathering in your palm until you get a huge amount of lather. Wash out the brush then gently shake it out and then stand it out side under cover to dry. A hot shaded area will help the brush dry quickly and you can possibly do the same trick on a really hot day at least twice. I do that over about a week and the transformation is great.

Thanks for the advice. It's a good brush, I do like it, just wondering if it's as good as it's going to get - likely it's going to get better since it's at about shave 15 maybe.

Pre: Shower/Face wash
Soap: Dr Jon's 'Classic'
Brush: Simpsons 'Duke 2'
Razor: 6/8 J.A Henckels
Post: Dr Jon's 'Classic' Aftershave and Natio Maximum Razor Relief Lotion.

I received the Dr Jon's 'Classic' bundle this morning in the post and though I would give it a go, and give me findings for @jalex and @Nonick asking for a review.
First off the 'Classic' scent is nice, it definitely is a scent for winter days though in my opinion; it is a slightly sweet herbaceous scent due to the bergamot, rosemary, lavender, lime, cedar and vetiver.
Now for the soap, it performs quite well, very nice ingredients as well (Stearic Acid, Water, Potassium Hydroxide, Shea Butter, Mango Butter, Avocado Oil, Castor Oil, Coconut Oil, Evening Primrose Oil, Meadowfoam Oil, Essential/Fragrance Oils.) it took a bit of water to build up a lather in my bowl, but when it did lather it was very nice (reminds me of my TOBS Sandalwood soap). It gave a nice cushion to shave a also gave a decent glide for my straight, I would say that my Shaver Heaven Drogon Noir is better in this department though. Now the aftershave, for my first actual alcohol based aftershave it was pleasant. A bit of a sting for a few seconds but after that it was very pleasant, it has same scent factor as the soap of course, but after about 30 seconds the vetiver scent becomes more of the top note in scent, which is great, gives it that little bit of spice to it.
So there's my review, hope it wasn't too long haha. Enjoy your shaves gents(y)

Pre: Musgo Real Glyce
Brush: RazoRock Plissoft
Soap: MWF
Razor: Gillette Super Adjustable (6)
Blade: Astra (2)
Post-shave: Alum, Thayers, Trumpers Coral Skin Food

Hadn't used MWF in a while it gave it a long pre-soak. The Plissoft lathered it beautifully, easily the best I've had from this soap. A relaxing BBS.

Tomorrows shave [emoji11]

Just wanted to follow up the shave and give a bit of feed back on the King of shaves shave oil. Purchased it at Coles for about $8. In terms of performance I felt it aided the slickness of the soap. Scent is herbal/ medicinal. I also found the pump applicator nice and easy without much mess.

All up the $8 was well spent and you gents may want to check it out.
