Razor: Gillette British Aristocrat #16
Blade: Wilkinson Sword 'Light Brigade' (1)
Brush: Vintage butterscotch Simpson 46 re-knotted in pure
Soap/Cream: Saponificio Varesino 70th Anniversary
Aftershave: Saponificio Varesino 70th Anniversary
Time: ?:??

Wasn't going to time today - sorry @MrT ! Wanted to chill and relax with a classic shave.

Decided to go 'top shelf' with my favourite vintage solid guard bar razor and the famous 'Light Brigade' blades, courtesy of @borked - he will be giving me 5,000 vintage blades soon I understand ;)

Following the advice of @alfredus after @filobiblic's revalation about brushes and lather I tried for 'The Perfect Lather'. Certainly better than I've done before. If you are interested in pics that check out this post - The perfect lather.

Nice audible feedback from the Light Brigade/#16 combination. Lovely result bar one minor nick (always do when using a new combination somehow)

The finishing off with the Saponificio Varesino 70th Anniversary was good but very subtle.

Great way to start the day - have a good Sunday people. I hope to catch some of you at Western Sydney Meet in March

Today's SOTD is a bit different and I want to dedicate it to my friend @bald as

Yesterday I picked up this beauty from him, which he kindly loaned me for a week - it's the Bunny V3 Injector:

But not only that, he also made some Tallow soap with Lanolin, which he filled up into a tub hot from the pot for me - so I'd have a really nice Sunday shave ahead.

Around 3 hours later I got a phone call from him. After joking around for a bit, he told me he had a heart attack roughly 5 min after I left him...that's not a joke! He was very upbeat - the procedure was a success - but I was (and still am) in total shock. Anyway I visited him straight away - so glad I live now in Adelaide and everything is doable without being in traffic for half a day - and he his doing well and should be out by Tuesday. And he insisted on our regular meet-up on Sunday! So this one is for you - thank you again!

Face Wash : Musgo Real Lime Menthol Glycerine Soap
Pre-Shave : Myrsol Emulsion
Brush : Thater 2-Band
Soap : Sudsy Soapery - Citrus & Bay
Razor : Jerry Stark Custom Straight - 7/8" Spanish Point
After Shave : Myrsol Metilsol, Tom Ford Noir Extreme

Laid back Sunday shave. Today I was simply looking for an easy, comfortable shave. The Thater brush has no equal in my small brush collection, and it did a brilliant job of producing a luxurious lather from the Sudsy Soapery Citrus and Bay. I've mentioned this soap before and I haven't changed my opinion - the scent is just brilliant, and the performance good enough to make it one of my favourite indulgences. This Jerry Stark razor got its maiden use this morning, and like its more conventional looking brother didn't disappoint. It provided a smooth, efficient shave with lots of control. Truly an enjoyable shaver that produces a fantastic result.

Splashed on some Metilsol to make my skin happy, and when the scent had died right down finished off with a spray of Tom Ford Noir Extreme. OK Sunday, let's do it!

Pre: Shower/Face Wash
Brush: Simpsons 'Duke 2'
Soap: SH Drogon Noir
Razor: J.A. Henckels 6/8
Post: Homemade Shave Tonic, Natio Maximum Razor Relief lotion

Nice Sunday afternoon shave. Loving the Drogon Noir soap the scent make me feel like a sophisticated gentleman (haha), the duke absolutely eats it up to produce a great and easy lather. The razor is still going strong, just mows through my whiskers, and to finish it of I used my homemade shave tonic (which include; witch hazel, lavender floral water, glycerin, tea tree oil, chamomile oil, sandalwood oil and peppermint oil) and always great Nation lotion.
Enjoy the rest of your Sunday afternoon gents.:)
P.S. all the best to @bald as

Semogue 610
Wickham Sheridans
Alum
Myrsol Antesol
TSW Balm

Starting to go through some soap samples from @stillshunter. This is not the style of scent I normally go for, I prefer citrus and brighter scents.
Great performance and the scent is growing on me. Its pretty strong, though its lighter on the face. Also used my favourite razor and blade to give it a fair go.

I more TheStrayWhisker balm, my sample is pretty much gone. Its a light unobtrusive scent that works with anything. Fantastic stuff!

SOTD - Video Review of PAA Fir
Sorry guys I have done better ones in quality but have a look something different and can only do one take LOLOL

Post/After Shave: T.N. Dickinson Witch Hazel Astringent / Natio Maximum Razor Relief Healing Lotion

It nearly 8:45am in the morning in West of London and it's was bloody cold shave in the morning you wouldn't believe how cold my lather turn out before I started shaving and it wasn't too bad and I've never seen that much bloody fog in the morning, yesterday afternoon while I was walking along Berkeley St heading towards St James Street and my first Shaving Shop of the Day was the DR Harris & Co Ltd thanks too @Mark1966 for the information. While I was standing outside the DR Harris & Co Ltd on St James Street in West of London the window view looking inside was fantastic it looks very warm and friendly inside, suddenly while I was walking inside the shaving shop of DR Harris and you couldn't believe the smell and it was very sweet warm smell across the room from so many items everywhere their shelves.

I really enjoying looking inside of DR Harris for about an hour and man their are so many items on their shelves making me very hard to choose my very first shopping item to take home with me, and I was help by a very friendly lady who was able to help me and she was completely gobsmacked when she ask me are you from Australia and I said yes. I ask her how on earth did you know I come from Australia and she said to me you gave me the first word was G'day ;) and that how she knew straight way, anyway after awhile enjoying myself at DR Harris and I bought myself a Windsor shaving soap in a Beech Bowl for £22.50 that about $42.20 Australian......GOD Crikey  better watch my money very closely.

As for the rest of the day I'm very busy with the United Grand Lodge of England (UGLE) so I cannot say much about that as I'm not allow ;)

Cheers and have fun ;)

PS. Do you guys know any good pubs in London for a real good meal that it not too expensive, as I said before the food is very expensive around London ;)

Very impressed with the Myrsol products. The scents are nice without any making me go wow, but the performance, definite wow. I've used the plastic, antesol and f/extra (all have slightly different ingredients) in the aftershaves, and have to say you have to try at least one.
