Pre: GFT Lime Skin Food
Brush: Shavemac 177
Cream: DR Harris Rose
Razor: iKon B1 OSS
Blade: Feather
Post: Alum, Thayer WH with aloe, Aesop Moroccan Neroli

Didn't have time to play with soaps today, so I picked up the cream. It is quicker to whip up a workable lather, but there is just special something about soaps. Some call it love. My soap to cream ratio is currently 4:2.

The DR Harris Rose is one of my favourite creams, followed closely by the Windsor, which I have yet to possess a full tub. Such a lovely red tinge to it.

Very smooth shave for a Sunday night. No irritations with the alum block. I look forward to tomorrow's shave. I'd say it would be a tallow Monday. Or Vegan Monday....

Forgot how much I love this soap. The scent is as if you dropped a bottle of Bay Rum in a Souk. Lather shots here for the weirdos.

Mastro Livi "Perugia 13.12.14", 15/16 Full Hollow, Spanish Point

I have always been fond of Eau de Cologne fragrange, in particular 4911, the original one. I am sure many of you know they also make an aftershave having the same base fragrance, with slightly different nuances in order to make it a more masculine fragrance. No matter what, I would also use an aftershave having the original 4911 fragrance as I like it very much. The aftershave effect of this 4911 is very good, not to mention the pleasure of enjoying the Eau de Cologne fragrance on your skin, very elegant and refined, although many may consider it a bit old fashioned. As for the razor, this time I used this Mastro Livi 13.12.14 which always proves to be a super performing shaver with a superlative velvety touch on the skin, giving a super close shave.

I hope everyone is getting ready for #TechTuesday...

Brush: Simpson Wee Scot
Soap: Shaver Heaven Absolution
Razor: GEM 1912
Blade: Personna
After: Thayers & Fine L'Orange Noir

Thank you, @Draco Noir for your very generous sample of the Absolution. @Anthony has knocked it out of the park, once again, with this very fine example of a tallow based soap. Very easy to get going and lather feels absolutely luxurious. I would image that the Absolution scent enjoy's universal appeal.

Brush: Pl'occitane synthetic
Soap: Sudsy Soapery Bay and Citrus
Razor: Eclipse Red Ring
Blade: Gillette Bleue Extra [5]
After-shave splash: PAA Al Fin

9 minute shave.
- Synthetic brush.
- Existing razor & blade.
+ I did prep the face with pre-shave soap and face towel.
+ I used witch-hazel before the aftershave.

No joy in the shave; but I have a smooth face.

So this is this week's theme? I think maybe it is so let's make it bigger and bolder -

Tuesday 22 March 2016 is - #TechTuesday

Same deal for the straight shavers - try to use a razor starting with a 'T' - for DE or SE shavers without a Tech similar approach.

Next week I think we will need to have a soap theme to be more razor agnostic :)

Preshave: Proraso Red
Razor: Edwin Jagger DE89 with Windrose handle
Blade: Rapira Platinum Lux
Brush: Semogue 1305
Soap: B & M Latha
Post Shave: Razorock Limes Balm and B&M Classic AS sample
Three pass shave to nirvana. Wonderful way to start the working week. The Latha is a tremendous soap with a luxurious feel and pleasant scent. Enjoying the AS sample as well.
Last night I watched a new program called The Night Manager on TV and they had a wet shaving scene. He palm lathered his soap with what appeared to be a badger brush and then we see a lathered face being shaved with an Edwin Jagger DE89. Brought a smile to the face.:)

Oh no. We are slowly turning into b&b.
But thankfully without the attitude or egos.
