Awesome Sam, and the good news !! It only gets better ;) Have you noticed the colour's in the Brush handle take on different looks depending on the available light. although they do look awesome in this pic.
Cheers Tony
& Thanks for support and trust in making your brush.

Yes Tony, the brush will only get better it will be my daily brush for quite some time, the colours in the handle are amazing its never the same always changing with natural sunlight through the bathroom window or the light in the bathroom at night.

Preshave: Wahl TB Shave Oil
Razor: Muhle R89
Blade: Big Ben (2 I think)
Soap: Sudsy Soapery Citrus and Bay
Brush: Vie - Long Horse hair with wooden handle
Post shave: Wahl TB Bay Rum splash, Lucky Tiger After shave cream
One word to describe this shave, SMOOTH! The most comfortable shave I've had. Was never into the bay rum scent when I first bought it. I absolutely love it now, and that Lucky Tiger after shave cream is a must have for someone who loves Wintergreen. Top notch and has put me in a great mood today!
Happy shaving
Spencer

just done my daily shave with the fatboy and a new nacet blade. i feel the nacet is slightly sharper than the gsb but slightly less smooth. tiny amount of difference both ways though barely perceptible maybe even in my own head lol.used some beaver woodright captain scurvy for soap and my tsw brush. finished off with some apr saa splash and feel like a million bucks. i love my Saturday shaves when i get the extra time to relax and just enjoy it rather than ripping whiskers off in a rush before work.

Pre-Shave: @khun_diddy Olive Oil Soap, cold water
Razor: RazoRock Stealth Slant V1
Blade: Voskhod (2)
Brush: Nathan Clark Envy White
Lather: Australian Private Reserve Alfredus Choice
Post-shave: Alum, Stirling Bay Laurel Witch Hazel, South Australian Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil

It was cold and rainy today for the first time this season - finally autumn is here! The shave was unfortunately also a bit rushed again, but the wonderful soap more than made up for it. Fantastic lather (sorry, again no picture), wonderful scent and great post-shave - can't ask for much more.

Enjoy your weekend everyone (y)

I'm back ...

Well that was an interesting, and full, trip west. From the moment I landed in Perth and checked my emails to see what I was doing until I hoped on the plane in Kalgoorlie Friday morning to fly to PER and then SYD and then CBR it was flat out. Glad to be back home to a relaxing and decent shave.

Time to change the kit for tomorrow but for now, that was great!

Have a good weekend guys!
Those vintage UK Wilkies just go on forever @Mark1966 !!

Test Depth 2
20170401_092939.jpg

Razor : Gillette New Sc with Stray Whisker handle
Blade: Gillette Super Platinum (1)
Soap: Reef Point Test Depth
Brush: K Shave Worx Gamechanger
Post: Alum + Reef Point Test Depth AS

Thoughts...
- Tried to get a lather I was happy with from the Reef Point Soap. I didn't again. Hilariously I had a great BBS shave but I didn't like the lather which was either too pasty or too watery. Plus it takes quite a bit of work. Bowl lathered too which I'm pretty good at. Sad coz I love the scent. The AS is excellent though. Anyone know a Cool Water type soap I can pair with this OUTSTANDING aftershave?
