Three days growth so I have been really looking forward to this one.
For a bloke that makes his own shaving soap you seem to wait a while between drinks mate :D

  • Pre-Shave: Musgo Real Glyce Soap
  • Soap: Stirling Texas on Fire
  • Brush: Simpson Chubby 2 Best
  • Strop: Kanayama
  • Razor: Hayashi Diamond 6/8"
  • Post-Shave: Alum, Myrsol F/Extra
My first shave with the Texas on Fire I received in a trade with @Robbo14 and man it's good. Smells like I threw some leather and vanilla and campfire and then rubbed the ashes on my face (this is a good thing). Not a soap I would use every day, but on a brisk autumn afternoon it makes a nice change. The usual incredible Stirling lather created by the Chubby 2.

Mastro Livi Grifetto, 6/8 Full Hollow, Round Point

Mastro Livi Grifetto has something magic in it. It is always capable of giving the smoothest and closest shave, in my opinion a superb and top notch razor. This stainless steel straight razor is something you can always rely on, giving an irritation free shave and an impeccable BBS. I also have to say I liked using this Geo. F. Trumper Limes Shaving Cream, in particular for its fragrance. Moreover, Mennen Skin Bracer is, in my opinion, an excellent aftershave and if we compare its price (in Italy it is sold at about five euros) it is amazing both for the fragrance and the fresh sensation leaving on the skin.
  • Pre-Shave: RazorGuy Pre-Shave Oil
  • Soap: Geo. F. Trumper Limes Shaving Cream
  • Brush: Mastro Livi Best Badger, Black African Ebony, 24mm Knot
  • Bowl: Gerby Bowl
  • Strop: Mastro Livi Medium Loom Strop "Coramella Italiana" and Hand Palm
  • Razor: Mastro Livi Grifetto, 6/8 Full Hollow, Round Point
  • Post-Shave: Alum Block
  • Post-Shave: Umbrian Extravirgin Olive Oil
  • After Shave: Mennen Skin Bracer

Brush: Omega Synthetic HI-Brush
Soap: Proraso Green
Razor: Fatip Gold Closed-Comb "Gentile"
Blade: Gillette 7 O'Clock Green (1)
Lotion: Alum / Pinaud Clubman / Pinaud Clubman

Today's shave with the gentle razor was not particularly close. Given that the blade was new and sharp, this must, I believe, have resulted from a rather careful technique while using a mild razor. There is a history to it. Yesterday I nicked an old scar (not inflicted by a razor) beneath the chin. Curiously, though there was no bleed there was a bodacious sting. To be sure, I've experienced my share of nicks, cuts and weepers, though not many in recent years. I suppose today I was overly cautious.

While contemplating these circumstance, I realized I absolutely must have a Rockwell 6s. Now, a skeptic might hastily attribute this conclusion to acute RAD. I think not. I say the conclusion is, in all respects, scientifically sound.

Brush: Vintage butterscotch Simpson
Soap/Cream: P&B Spitfire
Aftershave Splash: Pitralon 'Swiss'

Early start for a dawn balloon ride - well maybe. Currently hanging around waiting because of the wind - might not be flying ...

EDIT: ... and we didn't. Wind was climbing with a storm coming. Oh well!

Razor : Gillette New SC with Stray Whisker handle
Blade : Gillette Super Platinum (2)
Soap : Stirling Black Ice Sample
Brush : K Shave Worx Gamechanger
Post : Alum + APR General Ledger AS

Thoughts...
- thanks to @Cris for this brilliant soap sample. A beautiful menthol infused licorice burst to start the day. Usual top notch performance and a 2 day growth was destroyed with aplomb.

That's such a shame about the timeless mate! Too aggressive? Or too mild? What don't you find not worth while about it? I know Cris from another cut above is in love with his but his has a different blade gap. would be a shame for you to have to toss this beautiful (aesthetically) razor.

Getting better results, less irritation but 3 nicks this morning. Only small and closed by end of shave, but just not feeling the timeless 68.

Blade feel mostly. No matter what blade I've used in it (7 O'Clock Yellow would be the sharpest I've got atm, but used vintage and other sharp blades alike), it just feels like it's dragging/pulling. Didn't have the issue with the 95 Timeless, so thinking it might be my coarse growth is too much for the 68 gap, which causes the biting (and irritation when it happens). Tried decreasing the angle so the blade is more perpendicular to the skin (riding the cap) to see if that assisted, but no luck. Either will send back to Timeless and exchange for a 95, might just buy a new 95 plate, or sell it and get an ATT R (if the test goes well with this razor).

Yep. That's very frustrating mate. Wonder if the blade is even getting a little chatter? I heard of people getting that with the Futur. Just that it's not 100% tight. Such a shame. If you ever want to sell it. Let me know ;) I don't have a course beard and the 95 sounds too much for me. Would be easier if you just found a blade that works! Good luck, way too excited for my Rockwell model T. Would love to be able to purchase a ATT razor in the future
