I haven't shaved since Tuesday so a nice growth to attack. The shavette and Polsilver had no problems scything through the dense stubble and I only really needed a second pass for touch up. Very enjoyable shave, nice hot shower as I have been cold all bloody day and all set for training tonight.

Razor: Yaqi DOC + RR bamboo handle
Blade: Astra Green (2)
Scuttle/Bowl/Mug: Proraso bowl
Pre: Shower
Soap: APR Ozymandias
Post: Witch Hazel & Tea Tree Oil + APR balm

Pure shaving bliss from start to finish. I really have to take my hat off to the lads as F2 really shaves a treat and as much as I enjoyed my first shave with Fenchurch I'm delighted to say that Ozymandias win's it for me ever so slightly. It's not hard to see why @todras is earning himself a great reputation as these last few releases have demonstrated. I'm finding myself reaching for his soaps more and more as they challenge the senses and provide outstanding performace with minimal effort. I'm glad I joined P&C so I could share in this great experience and artsians such as APR make what used to be a boring chore something to look forward too so keep up the great work! By the way the balm wasn't too bad either :) Have a great weekend & happy shaves gents... (y)

Hi Razor Burn,
Completely agree with you, what used to be a chore is now something to look forward too as well.

Cheers

Razor: Gillette Fat Boy....
Blade: Gillette Super Stainless Spoiler (Thanks @58RW)....
Brush: Semogue 830
Soap: APR Fenchurch....
Post: Thayers, APR Fenchurch Aftershave and EdP.....

These blades worked very well....Impressed....
Now the soap - absolutely beautiful....Lather just exploded in the bowl and protected my face as expected....Cushioning, slickness and post shave face feel excellent....
The scent is incredible - WOW....Nose picks up tobacco, leather and vanilla and triggers memories of my grandad sitting in his armchair with pipe in hand....Even my wife commented on him being in the room....
Thank You APR and @todras....

@Mark1966 No doubt about these vintage razors, 'dey got soul'. Very nice shave this morning provided by a fine razor, blade and very nice shaving soap.
Couldn't have asked for more and expectations were met. Soap was slightly drying, easy fixed with the APR balm.(y)
