Rockwell 6S R4 w/ Polsilver
Semouge 830
B&M Le Grand Chypre Soap and Splash
TSW After Balm

The Cool feels thinner in density than the other 2 mentioned.
It could very well be a placebo effect, but i have full tubs of the others and the Cool was a sample which i squished into a tupperware tub of a similar size to a normal soap tub, but as i say, it could be in my mind...

I would say so, I have all three and they are identical.

Yaqi Red Marble brush
Tallow + Steel Himalaya soap
PAA DOC Evolution Aluminus
Perma-Sharp Super blade
Tallow + Steel Himalaya Postshave

PAA DOC Evolution slayed a week's worth of growth for two pass BBS with light chin buff. Most efficient safety razor I've used with no nicks. Called the Beard Slayer for good reasons and a very slick soap is required.

Regrettably my last shave with this T+S combo before it finds a new home @Mark1966

Rockwell R4 w/Polsilver
Yaqi barberpole 22mm
Soap Commander Passion
Anherb balm

Holy crap! What a gorgeous sent!
Excellent, creamy lather.

The Yaqi is excellent but at 22mm, it's a tad smaller than my preference but it still performed very well.

Very enjoyable shave today.

With a bit of time on my hands I made a preshave oil today and the final finish of the shave is great.
20% Coconut oil
20% Jojoba oil
10% Almond oil
5% Castor oil

Melt the Coconut oil and add the remaining oils and in a closed container shake for a minute or two and mix well.
When your face is damp dip the tip off a finger in the mix and wipe between your hands and then massage into the whiskers.
Less is more. Lather and have at it.

6/8" Square point Tanifuji
Semogue Boar
My Soap
and today no after oil.

Brush: PAA Green Ray
Face: Timeless Bronze SB
Blade: Polsilver S/I (2)
Head: Headblade Moto (y)
Pre: Shower
Scuttle/Bowl/Mug:
Fine lathering bowl
Soap: APR Winterfall
Post: Witch Hazel & Tea Tree Oil + APR balm

No pic this evening but never the less another awesome shave - slick, smooth and still diggin the soap. For what it's worth I actually prefer using the earlier version of Headblade but can't fault the results as my noggin is BBS  Happy shaves!

Pre: Hot Shower
Brush: Razorock Big Bruce
Soap: Captains Choice Bay Rum (sample)
Razor: Rockwell 6s (3)
Blade: Voskhod (1)
Aftershave: Stirling Ben Franklin

Every time I use the Voskhod blade I feel like this rightly should be in my top tier. Very close smooth shave today with the 3 plate in the Rockwell and first time using this soap. Performance was great and residual slickness top notch! Finished off with the Ben Franklin splash from from the good folks at Stirling.
Enjoy your day everyone!

  1. Preshave: Cyril R Salter - Lavender
  2. Blade: Astra Superior Platinum
  3. Razor: Timeless Bronze, closed comb
  4. Soap: B&M Cologne Russe
  5. Brush: Sam and Son 30mm silvertip
  6. Postshave: Jojoba oil
  7. Earworm: Fruit Salad - The Wiggles.
Great shave this morning, BBS after 3 passes. However, for some reason I really noticed the weight of the handle today. So much so, that I found it a bit too heavy. Still a great razor though.

FINALLY got my Schick Injector blades for my 1955 Schick Injector Eversharp Hydro Magic SE razor. Just used it a few minutes ago. Flawless shave. It seems TO ME that it shaves somewhat better than my double edges, my Gillettes and Muhle R41. I don't know if that's my imagination or what but I feel I got a much more smooth close shave with my Schick Injector than my Gillette DEs and Muhle R41. Hmmmm…..
