This past week was a really, really bad one for me, just a lot of personal issues that I've struggled to deal with. But if the quality of this shave is any sort of indicator, maybe things can start improving in the near future.

Hey mate, as others have said these crappy times are speedbumps in the highway of life and things do turn around. Don't forget to talk to mates and get help if you need it, the one dumb thing we do as blokes is not get help when we need it.

The Rockwell sliced through a few days growth very nicely.
The Winterfell is a good pairing with the dark, brooding Baskerville ​

So as many of us know my good friend @alfredus is quite easily Australia's largest Metallica

Huge thanks for the supportive words guys, I'm really overwhelmed by the responses. I think it might be time to at least start telling the people closest to me, if they haven't already figured it out. And indeed this hobby is one of the few things that I look forward to these days.

Lovely shave with the Fine paired with the two band but I loaded too much and added a ton of water!!

The brush is 24mm but it's bloom is quite big and it's quite dense! Feels nice though as it has a natural splay.
