Pre: Pb Pre Shave Emulsion
Soap: Squadron - Spitfire!
Brush: St James of London Synthetic (24mm?)
Razor: Supply v2 (mild)
Blade: Schick Proline B-20
Post: Alum, Thayers Unscented, APR - Florian LE Splash & EDT.

I decided to partake in the September Springtime Squadron Shaveoff!
I haven't used my Squadron soaps for months... And now I'm wishing I had.
Squadron soaps perform so consistently, it's great.

Starting with the pre-shave @Pbgoose works wonders.
It's great stuff and the Canberra crowd were very lucky to score some samples.

In the interest of using things that have been neglected recently, I decided to use my trusty Supply v2.
This is the most solid razor I own. It's solid Stainless Steel and, if thrown, would easily kill a man... I love it.
I fired it up and had forgotten how easy, smooth, and close a shave it delivers. If you haven't tried one, please do so. They are a totally different beast to our traditional DEs.

Topped it all off with my brand new acquisitions: Florian Splash & EDT.
The scent is nicely sweet and floral while still being masculine... And already has spousal approval.

Lastly, I made use of a bowl made by @Nico's lovely wife.
It is juuuuuust big enough to whip up a lather without spilling over. If you make it bigger, you'll have an absolute winner on your hands.

Apologies, for some reason Florian refuses to be in focus no matter what I do.

Looking at that photo makes me think the Supply Razor looks like Thor's hammer... Maybe I could get some runes laser-etched onto it?
What's Norse for "Bless my shave"?

nice shave. Not much experience yet with WK splashes but they hit me a bit on the alcohol side. Of course, they have a somewhat simpler composition (a bit more complex than Fine's). At the end it is good, but yes, it hits a bit at the start

Another great soap from @SchoolForAnts. Shaved the noggin last night in the shower and the lather worked a treat - super smooth, slick with awesome cushioning and the scent is very masculine  Finished off with a face lather this morning and the results were top notch = 3 x quick passes for a near BBS :)
Have a great Friday + Weekend and happy travels @Mark1966 (y)

Semogue 1305
Mitchells Wool Fat
Yaqi OC/Ballend handle
Feather
Witch Hazel
Nivea Men
Old Spice Musk

My first shave for four days as I have been quite unwell. The Yaqi head combined with the Feather ripped through the growth easily and after two passes left me smooth for a DFS.I wanted a straight shave but my hands were a little unsteady,so went for the OC and took it easy, pretty happy as no weepers and not a speck of blood anywhere.

Spectacular shave this evening.... (hopefully photos will follow soon enough - having some difficulty uploading at present)

M&F 28mm Finest Polo ivory grain
Charcoal Goods blasted steel Level 1 hammered handle
Voshkod
APR Coeur de Vert soap & splash

This APR scent is giving Suitably Attired Summer a run for the money. As the weather turns cooler here in Virginia, I'll be reaching for this on a consistent basis. The is a masterpiece scent in the world of shaving.

Quick update as I’m off with these fairy’s.
Used the A&G soapworks Lavender again with Rockwell R2 and Nacet blade. Fantastic close shave and finish off with Lucky Tiger something aruther. The mandarin smells one.

Wisdom teeth gone bye byes now. Don’t reckon I’ll be shaving soon :cry::cry:
