Post: Squadron Scramble
Trying out the 1920's Flying Man. All works well, the sprung head holds the blade tight and the geometry of the head is not too aggressive, so no nicks or weepers. However, due to the lightweight design, it bounced around on a few days growth and even after a couple of passes it was far from smooth.
The Squadron soap was great, as ever, and the patina (rust) of the tin makes it look as old as the razor!​

Quite warm and sunny day, improved with a nice shave on the morning ended up smelling so damn good!
 
Less my shave kit, but my shave location

Nothing better after a flight from Australia to Europe than that first shower and shave. While the immediate location was nothing to get excited about -



if I face away from the mirror -



It is not too shabby!

Post: Thayers Cucumber Witch Hazel / Myrsol Emulsion
Scent: Leviathan EdT

First outing with the Pils razor. Beautiful fit and finish. A unique two-piece design that seems to clamp the blade very precisely, and with no curvature.
Three passes for an super-comfortable and effortless DFS+. Very impressed. Reminds me of the AS-D2, but with more heft/momentum, and seems slightly more efficient.
Lovely shave!

an interesting place:
  1. on one street corner you can get a tattoo;
  2. on the second, buy some hashish and smoke it legally;
  3. on the third there is a lady in a window being 'sold' like some supermarket sale item;
  4. on the fourth there is a restaurant selling horse meat stew as a delicacy.

Guess what I did tonight?

certainly... do a poll...
But you should check cheap flights, as already being in Europe, go for it and enjoy something different
