Pre: Warm water
Razor: Gillette Fatboy (7)
Blade: Polsilver SI (2)
Brush: TSW Silvertip
Soap: Declaration Grooming Original
Post: Old Spice, TSW After Balm

Decent shave although this soap was much less slick than I've had it in the past, probably just my own fault.

This Morning

Scuttle/Bowl/Mug: Proraso bowl
Pre: Warm water
Soap: Proraso white cream
Post: Joop Go aftershave balm

Away at the family's for the weekend and decided to shave the noggin with the travel gear. Slick, smooth and super comfortable...

This Evening

Brush: Proraso (Omega)
Razor: Rockwell 6S (R4)
Blade: Ladas (2)
Scuttle/Bowl/Mug: Fine lather bowl
Pre: Shower + Washpool Activated Charcoal & Brazilian Clay Face Cleanser
Soap: RR xXx

Glad to finally be home after a busy weekend. Loving the cleanser as a pre-shave soap. Very good slickness and post shave feel on my skin is fantastic. Plowing through the xXx soap and really enjoying the smooth shaves from the Ladas blade. 3 x quick passes on 2 x days growth = near BBS... Happy shaves!

Third use in a row with the razor and still perfect. I should give it a go with a feather blade :)

Steak Tartare and Belgian Frittes with homemade mayonnaise - now that's a meal!
And a sneaky glass of red to wash it down.

It was fantastic

Why did they put these plants on top of the tartare? Crazy Belgians....

My thoughts exactly! They were removed immediately lest they get in the way.

Except for the pickles. They stayed

Pickles shall be already inside it, properly minced, together with some french onions, real anchovies etc, helping the meat to express its greatness!!!

Sopiler (I don't know how to do it):

Worcestershire sauce must be Lea & Perrins too, not the one on the table. It look that my ancestors did a piss poor job when they conquered the lower lands. I present my apologizes in behalf of my background :(

Certainly has pickles and onions - I hope not anchovies!

Yes, Worcestershire sauce MUST be Lea & Perkins - so I didn’t use that one

Australian Private Reserve Skyfall P&C Edition
Another sample recently received.
Interesting this one and nicely surprising. Lathers really easy & thick. Requires some additional water through each pass however, the protection the soap gives is really high. The post shave feel is clean & fresh. I'm sure I will look forward to further catch up on APR soaps. (y)

Semogue Boar,
Proraso Red,
Ballend Tech,
Polsilver,
Witch Hazel,
Viet Fougere

Haven't been posting much lately but still checking out what is happening here.A very smooth shave today with the old Tech.Face lathered the Proraso after loading the brush heavy, and combined with the Gillette and reliably sharp Polsilver ended nice and clean after two passes.I actually went ATG on my neck/throat,which I rarely do,but with a new blade and a light touch the result was no irritation and bloodless.
Face feels good,I smell good and that is what this is all about.

Pre-shave:- Hot shower, Nivea facial cleanser
Brush:- Vulfix Pure Badger
Soap/Cream:- DR Harris Arlington cream
Razor/Blade:- Merkur 37c Slant / Feather
Post-shave:- Lucky Tiger Aftershave and face tonic

The citrus fragrance of the Arlington cream was to die for, well complemented by the Lucky Tiger aftershave

Perfect for a cold and grey Melbourne day....

Bowl: Handmade bowl, Mk3
Brush: RazoRock Silvertip Synthetic
Soap: AP Reserve Florian
Post: AP Reserve Florian Splash.
Another outstanding shave, two passes and a touch up for a BBS. Liking the Gillette Wilkinson Sword blades.

Another very nice straight razor shave.
I had a great phone chat with @Pbgoose this afternoon about soap etc. and on a whim decided to make a new soap for tonight, taking clay and silk to what I feel is my limit.
The after shave feel is a bit dry but I have purposely not used my normal post shave oil. The skin feels very good though with no irritation in any form. Easy to make another soap if I don't end up liking this one. Or a massive re-batch of past nearly there soaps.
