Post: CRSW Alcohol-Free Moisturizing Aftershave Lotion (American Barbershop)
Scent: APR Skyefall EdP

A L'Occitane branch recently opened up in my suburb, so like a moth to a flame, I was down to purchase the well known Cade shaving cream. I was expecting it to smell nice and perform quite well.
It exceeded my expectations, smelling very nice and performing very well. Easy to lather, good performance, and a beautiful scent. Kind of hard to describe; the best I can do is a classy and complex "soapy" scent.
I continue to be impressed with the CRSW alcohol-free aftershave lotion. Absorbs easily into the skin, and makes my face feel great, whilst terminating any irritation instantly.
Three very comfortable passes for a DFS+ result.

Cant wait to get my new brushes though, the razorock syth is crap..

Had one of the best shaves to date this morning, BBS with 3 passes. Went with plate 5 today after 3 days growth with effortless mowing. The shave was so smooth i only used the Alum block to confirm what i had felt during the shave and yes close to zero feedback from that. Skin doesnt feel as supple as it did after the APR shaves, but not sure if that is due to the Alum block, next shave will be the same except for no alum this time.

Happy shaves.. happy days :)

Moral of the story is don't strop razors around children or animals. Pup was sitting watching the stropping last night and lunged at the razor. My move to avoid the pup slashed the strop.
Kept the slasher run going this morning drawing blood on my ear and lip (minor with only a trace of blood) and nearly my chin. Moon must be in the wrong position. Otherwise great shave.:)

Karve 'A' w/ Astra (1)
Semouge 830
Noble Otter The Trail Soap and Splash
TSW After Balm

Did not love the blade. Felt rough.

Soap and splash were excellent. Before just like the Noir et Vanille.

The scent was very fresh. Pine was the most forward smell. I imagine this smells pretty close to walking down a pine forest trail. The scent from the splash lasted about 4 hours I guess. The Noir et Vanille did last the whole day though. It was a rather strong scent.
