Good ol Puck No:2 just keeps giving. The Polsilver was better in the Black Beauty but for travel goes fine in the Rocket.

No rule stating everything goes in, I rarely do for that reason. If I put everything from my routine in it would look ridiculous.

Pre: Valobra Glycerlanolina soap, Castle Forbes pre-shave gel
Brush: Tony Forsyth P&C LE 2017 Platypus
Cream: Speick Active
Razor: Ever Ready 1912
Blade: Ted Pella Gem SS (6)
Post: Myrsol Emulsion / Proraso White Sensitive
EdC: Farina Original 1709

Finally got around to trying the Speick cream I picked up in Germany last year. Very impressed. Lather explosion, and the lather was very persistent, which is a property lacking in some creams. The scent is delightful - clean and fresh, with hint of herbal citrus.
On the third pass, I could feel that the blade was starting to deteriorate, so to the blade bank it shall go. A lovely shave with DFS+ closeness. I was not prepared to risk the clean-up buffs to take it to BBS, given the blade feel. Finished with the wonderful Farina 1709 Original cologne. The name says it all - they've been making in since 1709 in, well,........Cologne :sneaky:. Beautiful citrus notes perfectly balanced by a base of gentle herbaceous florals. A timeless classic.
