Feather AC DX non-folding
Feather AC Pro Super blade (17)
Platypus 26mm fan
Razorock P.160
Nivea ASB

The blade is starting to get a bit harsh if I chase ATG BBS results. This brush does an excellent job with this soap - super dense and slick lather today.

On EdTs, is there a reason that AP reserve do not offer scents as EdTs? Just asking out of curiosity.

It's down to the fragrance family type, you will see some EDT's from AP Reserve later this year though as some of the upcoming releases are best suited to the concentration.

The upcoming P&C exclusive release "Skye Fall" (Whiskey, Tobacco, Papyrus, Sandalwood, Tuberose etc) will be a 100ml EDT (in a special flacon) too. It will be a pre-order only, but Ill post all the details very soon on it :coffee:

Time to start saving my pennies!

Rockwell R3 w/Polsilver
RR Bruce synth
Dusy Kabinet (rose)
Anherb balm

This is a really great soap! It's vegetal but I generally don't find that much difference between tallow and veggie, unless I don't hydrate it enough in which case the tallow will be slicker.
The scent is a tad on the feminine side, unlike GFT rose, which is a brilliant dry rose scent (but their soap is crap).

Woohoo, though can you get it endorsed by the master so us sabbatical idiots have access to it. Or is it for nose rubbing (y)

Rockwell 6S (3)
Polsilver
Yaqi Tuxedo
B&M Le Grand Cyphre Soap and Splash

I wanted to try a few more blades before moving the 6S but I couldn't hold off. Wow! Smooth shave! I feel it could be a bit closer, I'll try plate 4 next. I did 4 passes not a bit of irritation! It's like twice the weight of the EJ DE89.

I'm not that happy with the Yaqi. It came with a weird smell that is still slightly there, and every shave it loses about 5 bristles, which is annoying during the shave. The RazoRock Plissoft is yet to loose one. It whips up lather heaps quicker then the Plissoft though.

Have a good day guys!

The faster lather generation I find occurs with the denser synthetics.
I enjoy all my synthetics due to these varying characteristics.

It's really not for me to decide, you need to get @Monsta_AU to flip the switch if you want it as an official forum product and get his ok. In fact I have no idea whatsoever how the forum products even work:)

*Edit: Forgot to mention it will come with a tub of balm too Rusty

Brush: RR 400
Razor: iKon X3 & OSS handle
Blade: Shark (Super Chrome SS)
Scuttle/Bowl/Mug: Fine Lather bowl
Pre: PAA Cube
Soap: PAA Atomic travel soap
Post: Witch Hazel & Tea Tree Oil / Nivea Men Creme

I haven't shaved for 2 days so decided I'd mix things up by using a slant with a blade I've never tried before and after tonights shave I'm not very impressed with the blade's performance (n) Managed to prepare a super creamy lather but to no avail, the blade constantly tugged at my beard the first 2 passes (WTG & ATG) and oddly enough the only time it actually felt smooth was on the 3rd pass (XTG) which I normally avoid when using a slant through fear of slicing my face up due to the slant's distinct blade angle :banghead: I'll try the blade in a different razor as despite the resistence I was still able to achieve a DFS due to the soap and proper technique  Hope you have a great long weekend!

Proraso Green
National Alum (India) / Proraso Green ASB
My last shave with Proraso Green shaving soap, which was finally completed yesterday as mentioned in the finished products sticky. This was yesterdays' evening shave (pardon the delayed post). This was my first ever soap, which I particularly enjoyed over the warmer months. Easy to lather, great value & very good performance - It's a true Italian classic. I usually prefer avoid using balms over the warmer months, but Proraso Green ASB would have to be one of the most refreshing balms I've ever used (Just don't slap-on too much...a little goes a long way).

Have a Happy Easter everyone !!!

Brush: omega boar
Razor:6s(4)
Blade: 7o'clock yellow
Soap:gd conca d oro
Splash: chiseled face Santa Paula citrus
Had this brush for a while but never got around to using it so have been using it and the rest of the combo all week. The splash works well with the soap both being very pithy and bitter but the longevity just isn't there.

Well Gents I have had the opportunity to carry out a weeks shaves and thought I would share my thoughts. For me with this particular soap, the two stand out features is one the scent. This creamy woody scent with a natural dark rose is very easy to use repeatably without tiring of it. The second feature for me is the skin conditioning properties of this soap. It was like using a moisturizer to shave with. I feel my complexion had improved over the week and my skin tone more even. Not that I have issues particularly with my skin, but I feel the soap was beneficial. In terms of performance I don't think I have yet to see the best of this soap. Each time I have used it I have added bit more water than the last chasing super slick soap I think it can be, but alas don't think I have got quite there with it. As a all road soap it is fantastic. Based on performance alone, for me soaps like I coloniali and Santa Maria Novella are still probably top tier, albeit they are now discontinued or more expensive. Still in a solid scent this soap is definitely one I would be happy to have in my den and will most likely get one when the next soap buy comes around.

Prep: Valobra Glycerlanolina soap, Castle Forbes pre-shave gel
Brush: Tony Forsyth P&C LE 2017 Platypus
Soap: B&M Leviathan
Razor: Gillette Slim (8)
Blade: Vintage NOS Wilkinson Sword French Brown (2)
Post: Myrsol Emulsion
Scent: Givenchy Gentleman

A 5 day growth due to some skin issues. Dialed up the Slim to 8, and into it.
Certainly more blade feel, but still very precise feel. I was at DFS after 2 passes, and only one tiny weeper to show for it. One more pass and a couple of buffs and I was BBS - a lovely shave! The leather notes of the soap matched well with the classic Givenchy fragrance.

Razor: Vintage Gillette 'Fatboy' Adjustable (5)
Blade: Vintage NOS Gillette Super Stainless blade (12)
Brush: Vintage butterscotch Simpson
Soap/Cream: Martin de Candre Original shave soap
Aftershave: Chatillon Lux Unconditional Surrender tonic
Fragrance: Chatillon Lux Unconditional Surrender EDT

And that is a wrap on the MdC - The finished products sticky
