Razor: RazoRock Mamba
Blade: Vokshod
Brush: RazoRock Monster
Lather: Catie's Bubbles Irish Coffee
Post: Rockwell AS Balm
Fragrance: YSL Y EDT

The shave was a great prelude to a nice cup of coffee to mark the start of the week :coffee::coffee::coffee:

Semogue 1305
Mondial
Gillette Tech
Nacet (shimmed)
Witch Hazel
Nivea
VCS

Something different today using the old U2 Tech that I got from kindly Op Shop lady.I know the Techs are way too mild for my liking so shimmed the Nacet for a very smooth comfortable and relatively quick two passes WTG,then XTG on cheeks and ATG on neck. Now that I have been using real soaps for a couple of months I managed a very slick thick lather from the Mondial.Good soap for the DE,but not my choice for a straight.
Very nice shave.

Rockwell R3 w/qshave blade
RR Bruce synth
Washpool Farm Original soap
Anherb balm

Put the R3 head on my extra heavy SS handle today, giving a total weight of 155g for the razor.

The qshave blade (got a tuck with the qshave futur) states made in the US on the pack so I thought is try it and it wasn't bad actually. Not as sharp as the Polsilver but achieved a DFS.

The washpool soap is awesome! It creates a very "fatty" feeling lather and feels great. The original scent was kind of a beta run so is not available but the base is slightly better now. I'd highly recommend this Aussie artisan shaving soap!!

(I also have their bergamot/cedar/patchouli and unscented lanolin and all are fantastic!)

@pvsampson how many shimmes did you add to your Gillette Tech to give you a very comfortable smooth shave.

@Razor Burn , GD Dia was made thinking on spaniards (look that crazy spaniards were the biggest GD costumers out of USA)... I would have targeted it if carried duck or other wildlife tallow xD

@Mark1966 Stubborn? That soap could be use on daily basis without problem, always so enjoyable that make it a daily driver till the end would make really great shaves concatenated without missing any other soap!

Don't expect a shaving from me today... wake up a 4 am, and after the shower I found that part of the house roof has fallen. In one of the add-ins of the house; we have a big plant that grow outside through the wall, and are expert on finding small holes or even create them, and enter.... It is so nice when you are in the pool, from the backyard looks so nice, but hopefully it will be cut and removed soon. My home office this morning was shit!

10th April 2018

Preshave - Warm shower
Brush - Razorock Big Bruce
Soap - Martin de Candre Fougere
Razor - Rockwell 6s (R3)
Blade - Voskhod (1)
Aftershave - Floid Vigoroso

First use of both the razor and the soap and it was a great shave!
The scent of the MdC is really pleasing and the slickness was phenomenal.
The razor was also super smooth and had no cuts or razor burn whatsoever. Kept the R3 plate in and will move to R4 tomorrow. Really close shave and clear BBS on the cheeks.

So far the best straight shave I have had.Lather was excellent and hasn't taken long to figure this soap out, start with quick face lather then bowl with a couple of tablespoons worth of water and paint that on.Also got a basic cheap strop from ebay,2.5 inch piece of 3mm thick leather,a bit of grain in it and a bit stiff so ran my rolling pin over it and "broke" it a little.Stropped the blade and it was exactly what it needed and sorted the issues I have been experiencing with my lip and chin area. That blade worked almost as good as a Polsilver today, not quite but nearly there.I have some 0.25 micron paste on the way which is around 100,000 grit and should get it where I want it.
Retired the starter strop I have,it was a major part of the problem as it has died a death of a thousand cuts.Literally
