It's good to be back after a brief hiatus.

Today's shave was the first in a long time with Swords. It was a BBS- shave in 3 passes with touch ups. Looking forward to seeing how the blades perform tomorrow as my 2-day growth made it work today. Lather is much improved thanks to the videos recommended by @alfredus

Feather AC DX non-folding
Feather pro blade (5)
Omega 48
Proraso Red
Nivea ASB

2 pass (WTG/ATG) BBS. I have developed a new grip which places a finger or thumb on the spine right behind the blade and rests that on the skin, which gives much better control over the angle for this razor, which can otherwise roll a bit in the fingers without realising - there's a nice flat surface behind the blade with right angles that gives excellent control. Together with a blade that has now had the harshness taken out of it, it delivered one of my best shaves ever... there is also a feeling of accomplishment in mastering a razor of this nature that just isn't available from a DE.

How many shaves do you get per blade

Pre: Razorock Lime & Charcoal Preshave
Razor: Rockwell 6S, plate 4
Blade: Nacet
Brush: Turn N Shave 26mm boss
Soap: FaceFat Grapefruit, Lavender and Bergamot
Post: Fine Platinum A/S & Balm

First use of GLB was very very nice.
Initially from the tub I got a general citrus scent not too different from the plain orange, but when lathered it took on more of the tangy scent you'd expect from grapefruit and bergamot more than orange, and a light floral undertone that plays a supporting part well instead of taking over with in your face lavender.

Cheapest handle in the den on the dearest razor and it had the desired outcome brought the shave up another level of efficiency for a super smooth 2 pass BBS and could have stopped at one but was enjoying it too much.
Beware pimples moles and skin tags this razor is so damn efficient any imperfections are leveled off without hesitation or irritation.
