Pre-shave:- Hot shower
Brush:- Frank Shaving Silvertip
Soap/Cream:- Noble Otter Rawr
Razor:- Smart-Helix Apollo Light (Aggr.)
Blade:- Nacet (3)
Post Shave:- Pinaud Clubman Musk / Armaf Club de Nuit

The Nacet and Apollo pair very well; the amount of blade feel is perfect for me. I had a practice lather of the Rawr with a synthetic brush earlier, but for some reason picked up the Silvertip. Seemed to lather up nicely but went very thin when applied on my face so suspect too much water in the badger as the synthetic lather was great. All in all a nice DFS.

Good to see the Matilda brushes in SOTD. Mighty fine looking brush. How is the fan knot?

hey @Holiday thanks mate she sure is a beautiful brush and in the sunlight even better without doubt my most beautiful brush without any competition

more importantly is the brushes functionality.. very ergonomic in the hand, plenty of backbone and super soft tips..

Another thing that stands out is the density of this brush and still releases lather with ease. At a guess the density of both my Yaqi’s combined may be a little less than the Matilda.

I face lather and one big surprise is the pure enjoyment I get while building the lather..

nothing I have compares in any sense to this amazing brush so it’s safe to say I love it

A wonderful scent of Noble Otter 'Rawr' great for Spring and maybe Summer season, depending on the strength of the Musk during Summer.

I can smell straight from the tub which is Bergamot, Sweet Orange, Vanilla and Musk, I cannot smell Neroli, Dandelions and Atlas Cedarwood (or Sandalwoods), because, the Bergamot, Sweet Orange and Musk sought of kicking in a bit more during lathering throughout my shaves. I can smell a very soft Vanilla and Cedarwood (kinda like Sandalwoods to my nose), otherwise, a great scent during Spring season.

Edit:- I can't believe Voskhod is STILL holding the edge, otherwise, I'm going bloody COVID crazy.
