Eau Sauvage

took the day off work to spend the day with my wife, just the two of us.
Realised it’s been like 2 years since last we spent the whole day together and it’s been fantastic.
Not the most outrageous activities; went to the movies, bought some pants, had lunch and had a nap- amazing!

not that child ownership err I mean parenthood isn’t fantastic..

Eau Sauvage has always been my Dad's choice. I've never been able to wear it, even though I love the scent, it just feels like I'd be treading on his turf somehow. He's 84 now, and he and Mum have been married for almost 60 years...

Pre-shave:- Shower
Brush:- Forgotten Art / Bushman 26mm tuxedo
Soap/Cream:--Stirling / Texas on Fire
Razor:- E.S / Outlaw
Blade:- Feather (1)
Post Shave:- Floid Black / Swiss Daily Face Moisturiser

Another shave with the Outlaw, this time with a feather blade. As I thought, a more efficient and smoother shave. BBS in 3 passes I am reclassifying this razor as it has a wide variance of shave effciency and feel which is heavily influenced by blade choice. Karve SB C - E , Rockwell 6s plate 4 - 6. My next shave I will use a derby to confirm its mildest shave.
From the specs I pulled up of the razor it has a blade gap 0.72mm, blade exposure neutral - 0.05mm depending on the blade used.
Razor handle is 3.54inches (90mm).

Great brush @Irish, very comfortable in the hand and the tuxedo is a comfortable size especially for lathering in narrow or smaller sized tubs.

STIRLING Texas on Fire soap, takes the smokiest soap you have ever tried and then takes that to the next level. Its not ashtray smoke, its an outdoors camp fire smoke scent. When you lather it up the cedarwood and vanilla notes begin to unleash. Intereting scent, and should go well with any AS you use adding a smokey effect to it. I used Creed Aventus to sample with and it worked really well.
Picked this moisturiser up as cheapy on special. All natural ingredients , nice and light non greasy, made in Australia. Very light scent that dissipates quickly.
