The Vector must be a fairly mild razor. Both the Feather Pro and Pro Super are much sharper than any DE blade.
It is indeed a mild razor, more so than I expected. Maybe my expectations were unreal, as someone who until comparatively recently used an R41 as a daily driver. I really hadn't expected the Feather Pro to remind me of my old 32C, where I had to grind away through 400 passes to get a decent shave. But its big brother is fantastic.

I'm coming to the conclusion that maybe my stubble is coarser than I realised. As a fair-haired person, I had always thought of it as quite fine, but maybe I'm wrong. Plus, of course, I'm older than I used to be...

Another technique refining shave on the most aggressive razor I own. I’ll chalk up ~ 5 small weepers after three passes as a win!😉

Finished up with alum block, Thayers, Nivea two-phase & TSW After Balm.

brush Omega Boar
razor Gillette NEW SC gold bar
soap P&B Spitpire
blade Polisiver super iridium
aftershave Imperial Leather

My initial impression is the short comb is a bit milder than the long. It felt a little less 'bitey'. Knocked down two days growth quickly. Smoothe and easy shave. This AS reminds me of my grandfather.

The new sc is in my top 5. Prefer it to the lc.

Glad to have restored your faith in Feather blades and in the Ikon Tech no less! As the #Lurker says life is too short for bad shaves.
Brush: DS Cosmetic - SHD Geltip Manchuria badger
Had my eye on these new geltip manchuria brushes for a while. How does it compare to other badgers in the den?

Lots to love from this mornings shave; the blade surprises me as its still sharp and super smooth, with great performance and scent from the soap. Post shave was very refreshing!
As for the brush; I'm blown away by the finish as it almost feels like a resin handle being super light with great fit and feel. I highly recommend the knot as its super dense but also soft and luxurious... A clear favourite already and super greatful for Graydog's kindness!
Happy shaves!

The mild side seemed to have more blade feel this morning, compared to yesterday's shave with the 'aggressive' side. Any other Apollo users get this? As for the Haslinger, this has to be one of the easiest soaps to load and lather.

I often second guess which side of the plate I'm using as the 0.50 milder gap is very deceptive...
