Soap/Cream:- Mike's Natural ~ Orange, Cedarwood & Black Pepper
Razor/Blade:- Muhle R41 with iKon Bulldog / Astra Superior Platinum #4
Post/After-shave:- T.N. Dickinson Witch Hazel Astringent mixed into the 240ml bottle with Natural Glycerin (20 drops) & Tea Tree Antiseptic (10)
Fragrance:- Acqua di Gio Pour Homme

Another super smooth, close, soothing SOTD with my favourite Slant. Its well built, light and efficient but still offers smooth shaves with ease. Love the menthol in this soap and the summery scent is pleasant as well :) Finished off with the Serum... Happy shaves!

Following on from yesterday’s shave with the R41 there was not much to shave of this morning so I decided to try going ATG for all passes. Three passes later resulted in a smooth and satisfying BBS.

I've been looking forward to trying Nordost. Thank you @Rabid Badger for sending that to me. Yep, no mistaking the Oranges but you have to go looking for the smoked orange. To me it's quite tangy and reminds me of orange flavoured lollies but I do get a touch of the leathery rind. Overall very enjoyable and using up the rest of the sample will be no chore. (y)

First outing for a seasonal release by Phoenix & Beau - Achilles Last Stand. The performance was typical of P&B - excellent. But the scent - wow! I really like it. The maker's notes say that it is inspired by their travels to Morocco. It has a really interesting structure, and to me is fresh yet paradoxically dark and mysterious. A dead set ripper!
The Mergress was as efficient as ever - I was almost done after two passes, and absolutely BBS after the third. An invigorating blast of Myrsol Blue, and I am grinning :D.

I've been looking forward to someone trying out Achilles Last Stand. (y) Sounds interesting.

Not been shaving much of late as my hands have been bad and last shave I slashed my face, actually also got my ear.... But thought I'd tidy up this morning after the wife mistook me for the dog and tried putting me out for the night yesterday evening. :cry: lol. Man, still got a few nicks and a small cut again....sigh..oh well glad I have a large block of Alum lol.

Another highly satisfying near BBSOTD with this combination. Each time I grab the Dart I worry I will end up cutting myself but when paired with a suitable blade is delivers smooth/efficient shaves! I'd forgotten how lovely Skye Fall's scent is and of all the APR range, for me the Winter scents are best but not taking away from the others :) Finished off with some Serum... Happy shaves!
