Soap: Pb Red Dwarf
Brush: Omega 10083
Razor: Lambda Ares
Blade: Dorco ST-301
This could be the code breaker blade I was after for the Lambda Ares. 3 pass BBS with no weepers. Smooth and efficient.
I'll pull out the Piccolo and do a comparison later this week @Holiday but preempting that I'll guess the Piccolo's performance to be 90% of the Lambda's efficiency and 80% of the smoothness if my memory serves which is not meant to be a criticism of the Piccolo but rather what you'd expect from the comparative value of the machines i.e. I did have high expectations of the Lambda so was not gushing with reviews from the start. After todays shave I am more comfortable with the Lambda Ares taking it's place amongst my premium razors.

Pre-shave: Hot Shower

Post-shave: Henri et Victoria Cognac & Cuban Cigars splash/balm

These little Culmak, admitted reknotted in this case, really do whip up a lather!

Pre-shave: Hot water, Pears soap
Brush: Forgotten Art "Tarkine" 26mm Tuxedo
Soap/Cream: Stirling Bergamot Lavender
Razor: Razorock SS Hawk V3
Blade: Feather Professional Super
Post-shave: Shower, Homebrew moisturiser, La Roche-Posay Anthelios SPF50+

After trying pastures new with all these samples, it's nice to return to a go-to favourite soap. Less nice was the fact that I had to rush the shave, as Mrs Gargravarr demanded to be driven into town, so a 2-pass SAS+ only. Then she changed her mind at the last minute. Grrr, mumblegrumble :(

RAZOR: S. K. Colling & Co (Austrlian made)
CREAM: NO BarrBarr
BRUSH: Mason Pearson Best Badger knot
STROP: Black beauty double sided hanging leather
AFTERSHAVE: None, I smell like Ginger Bread from the NO

A great shave with a nice soap, I want to eat it but must refrain. It smells of ginger bread.

Pre-shave: Hot Shower
Brush: TF Customs - P&C 2020 charity auction 24mm 2 band finest
Soap/Cream: Murphy & McNeil- Gael Laoch
Razor: Rockwell - 6S (R6)
Blade: - Bic- Chrome Platinum (5)
Post-shave: Murphy & McNeil - Gael Laoch AS / A&E skin food nourishing cream.

2 pass WTG + touchups = DFS+. A slight increase in efficiency due to the blade change which resulted in less buffering. Still needed touchups to achieve my standard for a daily shave. Again a silky smooth shave. Yesterday's shave was very nice, although I honestly could have shaven again in the evening.

Razor: Merker 37
Blade: Kai (3)
Pre: Shower

Enjoying the shaves with the Kai blade as both smooth and efficient...
