RAZOR: Comoy's of London 6/8"
CREAM: NO Barbar & A&E Vanille de tebac
BRUSH: Zenith 208 with Best Badger knot
STROP: Black beauty double sided hanging leather

I mixed the left overs of some soap samples hoping the sum of the parts was greater than the individuals. Sadly no. While it lathered well and shaved great, the post shave scent wasn't there.:cautious:

Pre-shave: Hot Shower
Brush: TF Customs - Hybrid Malle Burl Chameleon Holographic 30mm Rhodium
Soap/Cream: Murphy & McNeal / Black Mountain Shaving- Pisgah
Razor: Wolfman - WR2/WRH7 (1.45) Polished
Blade: Gillette - Stainless (red & white) (2)
Post-shave: Murphy & McNeal / Black Mountain Shaving - Pisgah AS splash / A&E - skin food nourishing cream
Fragrance: Murphy & McNeal / Black Moutain Shaving- Pisgah EDP

2 pass WTG daily shave = BBS. Took a break from blade testing shaves to enjoy this one. I wasn't expecting BBS, but damn the 1.45 WR2 is an efficient and beautiful razor. No need to review the Wolfman WR2, see @Errol razor reviews or @StratMan feed back.

I will give some quick feedback on the WR2 SB 1.45 plate.
After one shave, my thoughts of this super efficient beast of a razor.
As efficient as Karve SB G plate, that makes it equally to slightly more efficient than the Muhle R41.
Has the smoothness of the Karve SB F plate ( which is my favourite daily shaver). There is positive blade feel, though not intimidating, while being very smooth and predictable.

Congratulations on your WR2, its a beautiful razor. What angle did you use? I usually riding the cap with my razors but for some reason the WR2 excels with a very steep angle.. If you havnt tried already, give that a go

Polo 12, super badger
Hone Type 15
MdC Fougere

Wow, this brush is a beast! It does say on the website something about the Polo series being great for head shavers. Whilst I do not fit that mould (yet) the amount of lather that was produced this morning would have easily covered my whole head, face and then some, with more left over for a few more passes. Beautiful soft tips, and a really fantastic lather. I don't think that my MdC will last the whole year at this rate.

Steep angle as usual. I find the more efficient razors work best this way for myself. Still cannot shave today, hopefully tonight back to blade testing.

Now I kind of understand why all hype around wolfman razors. The reflection of the polish from the bathroom lighting is blinding, the balance and feel of the razor is amazing. Very happy with the solid WRH7 handle.:) Your SB 1.25 must be a fantastic shaver. Looking forward to my next wolfman in WR1 for next year's bday present.

Razor: BBS-1
Blade: Voskhod (1)
Brush: Doug Korn D7V
Lather: Blue Devil Shaving Co. Lemonwood

It has been way too long, since I had the chance to post a SOTD picture - but a new soap and a new background image is certainly a great excuse to do so again ;)

Big shout-out to @CraigE from Blue Devil Shaving Co. - wonderful soap, that is dead easy to lather and produces some heavanly lather (see lather pic). The scent is fresh and clear - paired with a Doug Korn brush and the BBS-1 it really can't get much better than this!

I hope you all have a fantastic Friday (y)

Hey mate, Glad you are enjoying the soap. It's one of my stronger scents that one.

Pre-shave: Proraso white pre-shave cream
Brush: TF "Woodrot" 26mm fan, 2 band finest
Soap/Cream: Muhle Sea Buckthorn
Razor: Rockwell Model T
Blade: Wilkinson Sword Vintage (date on the pack 06/97)
Post-shave: Nivea Deep Comfort

Oh yesssssss, I like this razor! Setting 6 for WTG, 3 for ACG, finishing with setting 1 ATG for a BBS result.
An old pack of blades from what looks like 1997 dug out from back of the cupboard. It did just fine. Feedback loud and clear.
One small nick on 1st pass just above top lip (suddenly remembered "Don't roll the wrist!!!") one styptic touch and that was taken care of.
What a brush though! Rotted and hole filled wood was cleaned, stabilised in vacuum tank, then cast in gold resin for turning.
Totally unique handle, and fitted with a beautiful 2 band badger knot. Excellent work @Tony Forsyth , Thank you.

Pre-shave:- Cold Shower
Bowl/Scuttle:- Captain's Choice
Brush:- Omega 11047 "Mixed Midget" (Badger/Boar) 20/43mm knot
Soap/Cream:- Noble Otter ~ The Night Before
Razor/Blade:- Maggard Razors Std. v3.0 with MR11 Bulldog / Rapira Super Stainless (sample) #1
Post/After-shave:- T.N. Dickinson Witch Hazel Astringent mixed into the 240ml bottle with Invite E High Potency Pure Oil (10 drops), Natural Plant Glycerin (20) & Tea Tree Oil Antiseptic (5)
Fragrance:- L'Occitane Baux

I had to change the blade from Ladas Super Stainless over to Rapira Super Stainless, because, Ladas Super Stainless couldn't mow down my thick tough stubble for a second shave and the blade died after first used.... WOW!!

Nearly ALL my sample blades are gone, looking forward to trying out the Minora Stainless soon

Pre-shave: Hot water, Pears soap
Brush: Yaqi Rainbow Pony
Soap/Cream: Simpson's Lavender & Vetivert
Razor: Razorock Hawk V3
Blade: Feather Professional Super
Post-shave: Shower, Homebrew moisturiser, La Roche-Posay Anthelios SPF50+

I don't normally go in for creams, but I think I'm being a bit unfair on them. This one came by way of a swap for my B&M Reserve Lavender. Vetiver hogs the foreground more than I usually care for with this one, but the lavender comes out of hiding when it's lathered up.

Pre-shave: Hot Shower
Brush: DSC - 26MM SHD Geltip Manchuria
Soap/Cream: Goodfellas - Shibusa 2
Razor: Karve CB - Aluminium SB (B)
Blade: Gillette - Stainless (red & white) (3)
Post-shave: Barbasol - Brisk AS / A&E - anti ageing night time eye cream.

2 pass WTG daily shave = DFS+. I was not surprised to get such a good shave from such a mild and light Razor. The Karve head design just works well with my face contours. I could still keep a fairly steep angle and have an efficient smooth shave. I would definitely not want to use this razor without using the sharpest blades available. Again the Gillette Stainless proves it's versatility in every razor I have used it in.

Thanks @Roryjames for the razor. (y)

Paired with a sharp blade it is a brilliant razor.

Glad you enjoyed it
