Ah, I see. My bad. Still very nice though. (y)
Thanks!

First time trying the Astra Greens...they felt good, honestly couldn't really tell the difference between them and the King C Gillette, will need more practice to tell the difference in feel.

Stay safe during the new lockdown peeps!
I have both and I found the Astra slightly smoother, about the same sharpness and lasted longer than the King C.

Brush: Yaqi 30mm Tuxedo
Razor: Rocca V4 R95 Birch Bark
Blade: Gillette Stainless Minora (10) - thanks @rhodes96
Pre: Shower
Soap: Gentleman's Nod Zaharoff Signature Royale (Cardinal) sample
Bowl: Rover Bowl
Post: Nivea 2 Phase A/S Lotion & Sensitive Post Shave Balm
WTG, ATG, Touchups = BBS+

Ended up using the misses shaving cream to finish off the shave as my attempts at lathering the sample failed leaving the lather too wet. A real shame as the scent was nice although on the milder side. Not to worry as I still have some different samples to try from the list of 22. Thanks again @rhodes96 (y) What did work was the Minora as its delivered 10 x effortless BBS shaves and no signs of it losing its sharpness!!!

Stay Safe & Have a Great (Long) Weekend!

I thought I had posted this earlier this morning, but just noticed it was still sitting in the edit box...

Pre-shave: Hot water, Pears soap
Brush: Yaqi Rainbow Pony
Soap/Cream: Ethos - Succès - Thanks @rhodes96(y)
Razor: RR SS Hawk V3
Blade: Feather Professional Super
Post-shave: Shower, Homebrew moisturiser, La Roche-Posay Anthelios SPF50+

Back to some of these fantastic samples from @rhodes96's collection. Not random this time, I opened the container, took a sniff and thought "that's nice". And it is. The lather is top-notch, I can think of no way it could be improved. The scent is very light, pineapple and smoke. If you like strong-scented soap, you won't like this, but I like it a bit understated.

I thought about putting this on my shopping list for next year, but sadly it seems to be unobtainium

Top of the Chain now stock Ethos soaps. So no longer unobtanium for most. Success's fragrance is a homage to Creed Aventus.

I had high hopes for the ETHOS soaps and both samples have convinced me to add some to my collection in 2022. The scent is nice and the lather was very slick with superior post shave feel. I'm leaning more toward Success and its pineapple notes but both are equally nice. Thanks again @rhodes96 for the opportunity to try this promising artisan. (y)
Another effortless BBS+ shave using the Rocca but I'm convinced the Minora is the smoother blade (just as Wizamets are compared to Polsilvers), even though they're the same Stainless Steel blade??? 10 nx shaves each and no signs of any issues so happy to push them as the results are superb!!!
So far my top 5 blades for the Rocca V4 = Minora SS, Red & White SS, Wizamet SI, Yellows & Muhle....

Stay Safe & Happy Shaves!
