Thank you all for the feedback on the small granules forming in the Sweetheart soap.
Now that I know that soap isn't at end of shelf life, onto more soap rotation.

Pre-shave: Hot Shower
Brush: Forgotton Art - Bushman 26mm tuxedo
Soap/Cream: Declaration Grooming - Apogee
Razor: Razorock - Lupo SS 95
Blade: Gillette - Stainless (red & white) (9)
Post-shave: Declaration Grooming - Apogee AS splash/ A&E - skin food nourishing cream

2 pass WTG daily shave = DFS+. An effortless smooth and efficient shave.

The Soap, Declaration Grooming - Apogee. Scent strength light to medium for the soap and medium for the splash. Scent notes white musk, salt, cannabis, neroli, sandalwood, and petitgrain.

Interesting, Interesting. Ok the fragrance from the soap is very green. The petitgrain really dominates. There is a little Neroli,a very small amount of musk, and a slight salty element. Didn't really pick up the sandalwood or any resinous accord from the canabis in the soap. The splash however did have more of the sandalwood, musk scent, salt and resinous accord present. Fragrance doesn't last very long, which is a shame as it much better than the over the top petitgrain dominate scented soap.

Scent fact, both Petitgrain and Neroli scents come from the same bitter orange plant. Petitgrain from the leaves and twigs, while Neroli comes from the flowers.

This is one from DG that I am not particulary fond of the soap. It is severely lacking in good woods base notes in the soap to cement the fragrance with warmth and projection. I wish DG would put a stop with the floral spring themes in their last 3 soap releases. One is more than enough!!!

Pre-shave: Hot water, Pears soap
Brush: Forgotten Art "Southern Skies" 30mm Snow Leopard
Soap/Cream: Mystic Water Jeff's Lavender
Razor: RR SS Hawk V3
Blade: Feather Pro Super
Post-shave: Shower, Homebrew moisturiser

Shameless recycling of yesterday's pic, since I'm still enjoying the same setup. No need for sunblock, today is a day without thermonuclear radiation.

Mike's natural soaps, Pine and Cedarwood
Simpson, Chubby 3, Manchurian
Blackland Sabre

More Piney goodness. The cedarwood helped to mellow it out, compared to yesterday's Pine Tar shave. First time using Mike's and first impressions are that it is a stellar soap. So easy to work with and produced a wonderful, protective and slick lather.

Great close DFS+ single pass with a fresh razor off the new to me Ozuku Jnat. This stone has enormous potential.
Razor - Ryiki [Tanifuji] 6/8" square point.
Soap - ARKO Good lather but face feel post shave very much on the dry side.
Brush - Boar rehandled in a turned piece of Red Gum.
The image is only to show the brush :) The same as yours @Pbgoose

Pre-shave:- Shower
Brush:- Vintage Rooney Boar
Soap:- The Gentlemen's Quarter Bay Rum w/Sweet Orange
Razor:- New Improved Big Fellow/Big Boy De Luxe Gold ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Blade:- Gillette Super Stainless (7)
Aftershave:- St Johns' Bay Rum Virgin Island

Enjoyed the Big Boy with New Improved De Luxe Gold Big Fellow (might nickname it Goldmember) even more today, dialed in a bit more and finding the sweet spot every time. Could have stopped at single pass DFS++ but why waste a good lather. The Gentlemen's Quarter is a very raw scent, quite pungent like freshly crushed bay, spices and herbs with a very smooth irritation free lather.

St John's stung like a bottle of antiseptic on a fresh graze

It's just a Big Boy De Luxe Gold, the New Improved has the alignment pins like an OLD.

Thanks Toby, even better then. Apparently a very rare "museum piece" according to Matt from Razor Emporium only produced 1930 - 31 during the great depression

All progress in small increments :) It is an "old" image. :) It is such a rigmarole reducing picture size, posting to Imgur and then linking to P&C.
Not complaining, well not much, just showing my age and intolerance for stuffing around.
Serious question? What is your [forum members] normal procedure to get your SOTD on line without massive fuss?

You don't need to reduce picture size for imgur.

I post on ATG first and then copy and paste, that forum will take the pix loaded straight from your computer, you don't have to reduce the size.
