This brush sounds fascinating - would love to hear more.

Not sure what else I can say! It is marked 'Sterilized Bristle & Badger Hair'. There are others around and a few that show in in searches having been sold on eBay. Nice enough combination of the scritch and softness.

@Mark1966 put me onto it and Phoenix & Beau do other great scents with Imperial Rum a personal favourite!

Seems that I was an earlier adopter of Spitfire, my first soap from from batch 1, my solid cologne from batch 2 and my balm from batch 3!

I've been exclusively shaving with DE razors for over a year now, so thought maybe it was time to change things up.
The SE1 paired with a Schick Proline P-30 single edge blade is a very efficient combination. Was BBS after three passes.
Managed to nick my jawl with a careless stroke - still adjusting to the wider cutting edge of the SE blade. Also a touch of razor burn, likely due to a tad too much pressure.
Will adjust next time out. Lovely post shave from the Portus Cale soap, and also a lovely scent common to both the soap and EdT.
