Brush: @TroyTools 26mm boar shaving brush
Soap/Cream: B&M Petrichor shaving soap
Razor: Muhle R95 Rocca Birch Bark handle
Blade: Gillette Silver Blue (2)
Post-shave: B&M Petrichor splash
Fragrance: N/A

No idea how, but I whacked the razor into the point of my chin - what a dumb ass mistake, with a day full of online meetings ahead...

Take care people - razors are sharp ....

How’s your PlatBoar which going to take a while for the tips to get nice and soft.

I don't know if it's just me, but I think that Platypig actually looks better than the original... :unsure:

birth razor shave didn’t disappoint.. first use of the minora in the Gillette and as expected it was so smooth I dialled it up to an 8 and down to 7 for ATG

The description for The Watchman sounded right up my alley but it’s another miss.

I never tried the basic black oxide SB plate.
Just used the black oxide OC plate, and then the 2 polished plates.
Finally decided I liked the polished SB plate, and didn't change from that.
You are in new territory to me by using the black SB plate, so I can't help with any advice.
Try diff soap, diff blade?

Unchartered territory eh? I don't think i will rush back to that plate any time soon, the OC and polished plates to have far less drag on the skin from a quick test

Fantastic soap. Unfortunately, I found my Watchman sample to smell like sweat personally.
