2 pass WTG + touchups daily shave = DFS+.

Interesting when you have been shaving with excellent artisan products such as Stirling, then use a commercial soap such as Tabac, you really notice the difference in the soap characteristics. Nothing wrong with Tabac, probably the best of the commercial brands. Artisan soaps such as Stirling, you really appreciate those fine tuned ingredients that make their soaps shave experience next level better.

88 Chestnut is my least favourite Chatillon Lux scent so far. I was expecting a citrus forward scent with some light florals, instead I mostly got neroli and petitgrain.
I won’t be rushing to pick this one up.

I'm in a purple patch; every thing is going nicely. I'm most certainly in the camp that believes the soap and lather can make or break the shave; judicious choices and a little care make the difference.

tallow tabac is my favorite soap for this exact reason.. creamy and slick
