Rocca R95
BIC Chrome Platinum
Zenith Boar
Tabac Soap / Splash

Big thanks to @nav1 for the heads up on the Rocca + BIC combo (y)

I got one puck of BIC in the first sample combo of razor blades I got when I first started DE shaving, and still have a few blades left. Used them here an there from time to time but never got along with them, plenty sharp but also plenty rough.... obviously I didnt try them in the right razor

I can say that these are one of the best blades I have used in the Rocca, previously was the wizamet/polsilver and although my position on these as great blades has not changed, the value for money on the BIC's will have to put them at #1. Loved these in todays shave so much, I just bought 400 of them  and to make it even better they only cost me $50 (y):)

The shave was so smooth, now the super slick Tabac lather may of added to this smoothness but they are an amazing blade for the Rocca for sure.. @Mark1966, @Razor Burn and anyone else who owns a Rocca.. you got to get onto some to try these blades

Cant wait to try this in the Timeless 95, if the curved head theory @nav1 discussed in another thread is correct, it should be a great match for it.. At the very least I got a kick ass blade for my Rocca's

Prep: Valobra Glycerlanolina soap, Myrsol Emulsion
Brush: Rooney Polo 2 Super Badger
Soap: Barrister and Mann Rhapsody
Razor:Merkur Mergress (2)
Blade: NOS Gillette Bleue Extra (5)
Post: Thayers Cucumber Witch Hazel, Penhaligon's Bayolea Aftershave Lotion
Scent: Guerlain Jicky EdT

Ah, the Rooney Polo 2 Super Badger brush. To misquote Robert Oppenheimer, who himself was quoting Krishna,
"I am become death, the destroyer of Soaps!" And so it was, with my precious tub of Rhapsody now showing a ring of death.

Oh sweet!

I had the exact same reaction when the BIC clicked with the progress...after using two blades, I ordered 500!

Looking forward to your experience with the timeless/BIC.

These things were so smooth, i sort of did an extra ATG lip/chin area which resulted in one small patch to the left of my chin being slightly tender.. no real burn but I feel it there slightly

that's the problem when things are too smooth, they lull you into a false sense of security and get you to run that extra last pass you prob done.. had the same problem with polsilver/wizamets when I first used them..

The Bic is underrated. My go to for the Pearl Flexi. Gotta try it in the Rocca now.

M&M Green Man Fougere just keeps giving even after 14 hours, not strong but all day long (y) (y)

Pre: Hot Shower
Brush: Blue Devil Huon Tuxedo
Soap: Oaken Lab Sanctum
Razor: Razorock Lupo 72
Blade: Euromax (1) courtesy of @Ferret619
Post: The Ordinary Glycolic Acid Toner, Nivea Skin & Stubble

The Lupo 72 could almost do no wrong with any decent blade. Except make you over confident with its smoothness and buff a little too much. Also for some reason the Sanctum left me feeling a little dry post shave today.

Pre-Shave: Hot Shower
Brush: Billygoat Brushworks -B1 28mm tuxedo
Soap/Cream: Grooming Department - Lemon Bay
Razor: Blackland - Vector Ti
Blade: Schick - Proline (2)
Post-shave: TOBS - Bay Rum AS splash/ Stirling Lemon Chill PS balm

Weekend shave 1
2 pass WTG = DFS+. Lovely shave, phenomenal soap performance and scent.

I take it you didn’t buy more Rhapsody when the Soft Hearts release took place a few months back?
Wow - I’ve been busy with work, and that one slipped through the cracks. Don’t tell me I missed out on Night Music also 😩.
