Soap/Cream: Gentleman's Nod - Zaharoff
Razor: Blackland - Vector Ti
Blade: Schick - Proline (3)
Post-shave: Gentleman's Nod - Zaharoff AS splash / Ariana & Evans - skin food nourishing cream.

Weekend shave 2
2 pass WTG + touchups = DFS+. Another lovely shave, phenomenal soap performance and fragrance again. For some reason this time the fragrance from the splash was very long lasting on the dry down, literally all day. Good thing that I smelt clean and masculine.

Well, like others have said, BIC doesn't work in every razor. I found the BIC in the Blackbird not as smooth as a Gillette yellow (my usual), a bit scratchy on the pass. I might run the same blade in my Rocca to make sure it's not a dud blade.

AE Undersea smells fantastic, but the scent strength is a little high for me. I get a little frag tingle (not a full burn or any redness), but an uncomfortable feeling until I wash it off. Not pleasant. And the only AE soap that I get that reaction from. I don't get it from any other AE soap in my collection.

I blame the other forum for getting me onto Hydro Boost. But I use it all the time now. I may buy another tub (but only if I can get it half off).

Another great shave this morning, said it then and I'll say it again -

The 3P (Charity Auction win) is a great soap - so easy to lather.
The P&C LE Charcoal Goods a fantastic razor
The El Dorado, well if you have the chance in next year's auction to get some of the Bootleggers made for you - go hard!

I'm not sure why I don't use these blades more as searching the archives shows me using them before in my favourite razors to great success and I recall posting that I had them in my top 5 when paired with the Rocca. They shave smooth and efficiently and I'm certain to grab an extra 100 as on my last 5pk and they're awesome value when bought in bulk! Great recommendation guys ;)

First lather with the new brush and I continue to be blown away with the colours in the handle and very timely with the recent wet weather we've been experiencing in CBR. Love how soft the knot feels and the fan really suits the handles shape. By far one of my favourite shaving brushes... (y)

Pre-shave: RazoRock Pre Shave Soap
Brush: YAQI Viper Boar Knot
Soap: PAA Tombstone - My first time using a PAA product. I've never used such a thirsty soap before but once I got the water right, it exploded into so much lather I didn't use half of it. Nice scent, very much like The Chiseled Face Ghost Town Barber which is one of my favourites.
Razor: The Palmer Chicago No.41 - I don't know how old this razor is, I can only assume 41 might be the year it was made.
Post-shave: PAA Tombstone Aftershave Gel - My new favourite aftershave balm though I forgot it contained menthol as was wondering why my eyes were watering afterward.

I don’t think Night Music will ever be re-made as I heard it’s a polarising scent which was made to honour Wills grandmother. That negative feedback hit him quite hard I believe so it’s been locked out from ever being made again.

anyway the BIC in this razor for me 👎 got me a close shave but that usual scraping feeling I remember from the BIC.. disappointed cos I have so many in the way but at least they are awesome in the Rocca, hopefully I find another razor they match with

kept the soap the same for resting and todays lather was spot on kick ass

the timeless loves polsilvers/wizamets, German wilkies and Gillette yellows, feathers are not bad too
