Same setup as my last shave as at home self isolating having contracted Covid. So far getting over it well but the wife is struggling with a persisting cough that's unlike her as she hardly ever gets sick. :doctor:

Brush: DSCosmetic Synthetic
Razor: 46-47 Gillette Aristocrat
Blade: Astra
Soap: Southern Witchcraft Gravefruit II

A big thank you to @Holiday for Gravefruit II. I normally prefer a tallow based soap but after using this I'll definitely try more vegan ones. This one was very slick, with an awesome scent.

Brush: TF Customs 3 band Silvertip
Soap: Shaver Heaven, Spiced Mahogany
Razor: Gillette Adjustable Executive 1959 E4 #9
Blade: Gillette GOAL #2
After: Alum block, Henri et Victoria Terre d'Henri balm

Huh!
After all this time using this soap, today while resizing this photo I saw the words "Vegan Formulation" for the first time. Never noticed that before.
Just as well it smells beautiful. Slowly approaching it's end though.

SOTN 20.06.22
/ Blue Devil Huon Tux
/ Wholly Kaw Noce Di Cocco
/ Executive Shaving Claymore
/ Schick Proline (2)
/ The Ordinary Mandelic Acid 10% + HA
/ Nivea Skin & Stubble

The Wholly Kaw had a nice not too sweet coconut scent which reminded me of the hard coconut candies prevalent in Southeast Asia. Lather was very silky.

Best wishes with your health and here's hoping the business survives as your product is high quality.
Thank you,

It has been the support of all my customers and a few of the other companies that has kept me going this long.

I have a contingency plan that may save it. But it will mean hiring help in the long term. For the mean time I will keep things going the best I can.

Cheers @Nanook glad you are enjoying GVII. It is a lovely scent and top performer. TBH I don't differentiate between vegan and tallow anymore because there are so many good vegan bases.
Unfortunately the EO were a bit strong for my delicately sensitive complexion :blackeye: :wacky:

Pre-shave:- Shower
Brush:- Shavemac - 386 D01 24mm Fan
Soap:- Pré de Provence - No. 63
Razor:- Weishi chrome 9306-EL Extra Long
Blade:- Cloud (6)
Aftershave Balm:- Pré de Provence - No. 63

Pré de Provence - have a whole No.63 Men's Collection which I may indulge in if I ever get through some of the current stockpile
@SpeedyPC I found the EL to be a good performer for a very cheap TTO razor. The mechanics are very tight and neat but the razor is light and tinny personified by a button in base that rattles every time I hit it with my pinky. Making it sound like the barn doors are rattling and me wanting to overtighten it. Otherwise a very nice shave and the longer handle will suit my very tall friend. Personally I prefer the short handle because it rattles less and more agile under the chin. Cloud blade was dragging but able to apply more pressure and have a comfortable 2 x WTG = DFS without irritation or weepers assisted by slickness of triple milled Pré de Provence with shea butter. BTW their cube soaps is quad milled :)(y)

I don't have a pretty picture to put up, but I've seen some of you guys use Tabac and even I remember it from my grandfathers shaving cabinet next to the Old Spice.

I grabbed a puck of the soap which B&Blade sell as the older stock with Tallow.

JESUS...

Why didn't you guys tell me the soap is that good?? it was an absolutely brilliant shave, so so smooth.

Muhle Rocca + Astra Green + Tabac Soap = One extremely smooth, irritation free shave.

I also grabbed a puck of that Mitchells Wool Fat, We'll see how that goes

I think amid its praises is equal sledging of its scent lol.

Pre-shave: Hot water, O&C
Brush: Troycraft "Opalesque" 28mm AP G5C
Soap: Czech & Speake - Oxford & Cambridge (Valobra)
Razor: Blackland Sabre
Blade: Personna GEM Stainless
Post-shave: Shower, homebrew moisturiser, La Roche-Posay Anthelios SPF50+, C&S Oxford & Cambridge cologne
COTD: Mandheling Sumatra

Over the last few days I haven't had much time for my usual drawn-out shave, so instead of my usual pre-shave treatment, I've been just splashing on hot water, then painting on a bit of the unlathered Valobra while I load up my brush, then proceeding with a face/head lather. It seems to work about as well; I've done this from time to time with Stirling, and for some reason that just doesn't cut it. Maybe those added fats get in the way.

I'm finding myself reaching more for the Sabre than the Vector at the moment, it's just such a smooth and comfortable shave, even on the fool's pass.

On a sadder note, I can now see the bottom of the aluminium bowl through what remains of the puck. Just as well I have a backup of this now unobtainium soap...

I don't mind the scent at all? it just smells lightly soapy to me.. Arko on the other hand..

I think I'll need to stock up before the non-vegan version runs out!

Bloody vegans / greenies have to ruin everything.
Glad I’ve got about 20 years supplies of tallow Tabac, before, the evil German vegan takes over.
