@Holiday does the vintage old spice soap smell very strong during the summer heat, cause I haven’t open mine yet.

Hi @SpeedyPC not strong at all, very powdery soapy smell to it. The reserve spice overpowers. I am considering whether to splash out on NOS Shulton Old Spice aftershave but very $$$$ and am happy with reserve spice

/ Yaqi Moka Express
/ Long Rifle Soap Co Bay Rhum
/ Robin Razor Snap, base plate ver.1
/ Gillette Nacet 1/2 (2)
/ The Ordinary Glycolic Acid Toner
/ Nivea Skin & Stubble

Sticking with the Snap and its version 1 base plate today. I think I may have underestimated its efficiency during the first use, not sure if I got a better angle today or better lather, but it felt like it was clearing more than it did the last time. Towards the end though I could feel the blade lose sharpness which is not surprising; I have been using only one side of the blade for 2 full shaves already. One thing I definitely miss is the feeling of a heavier metal.

Nice soap, as you would expect from Wholly Kaw. I can't described the scent - but I certainly like it!

Timmerman software looks looks pretty good, considering its recent hard ride,

Pre-shave: Hot water, Pears soap

Brush: Forgotten Art "Southern Skies" 30mm Snow Leopard
Soap: Wholly Kaw for West Coast Shaving - La Superieure Lavender
Razor: Blackland Vector
Blade: Schick Proline
Post-shave: Shower, homebrew moisturiser, Avène Sunscreen Aqua-Fluid SPF50+, Czech & Speake Oxford & Cambridge Cologne
COTD: Hamasil Village, Yemen

This shaving cream is a result of a heads-up from @SpeedyPC, and an exception to my usual policy of attempting to buy my soaps locally, so I got 2 tubs to make the postage a bit more economical. At first sniff, I was primed to put one of them on the BST, as the scent from the tub seemed a bit synthetic. I loaded up in my usual way, straight from the tub - none of that scooping nonsense for me. This really is a cream, not a croap, so I had to be a little careful that my monster of a brush didn't clean out the tub in one go. The scent lightens up a lot with water, and is really quite good. The lather is sumptuous, and post-shave amazing. I don't usually pay much attention to this last, as my moisturiser takes care of it, but I didn't need it. This stuff is really, really nice. (y)

The 1966 Russian "Capital" has about 9 shaves since obtaining from @bald as and still going strong on the original honed edge.
Have decided to make some space on the shelves by focusing on soaps that have the "donut of death" starting with Le Pere Lucien
I smashed it today with a stiff boar and don't think the hole got any bigger
