Nice looking vintage setup there @StickyGem Junior (Parade)
Gem Blue Star (carbon steel)
Albright Rubberset/ Omega
Vintage Colgate
Squadron Empire
First time using the Vintage Colgate and it gave a great lather very easily.
I haven't used the carbon Gem blades for some time, unlike the stainless Gems they give a super smooth shave on the first use, just a pity they rust so easily and are hard to get.
Thank you, I do like a vintage shave.Nice looking vintage setup there @Sticky
Pray for not too many nicks and cuts, otherwise, you’ll ended up like Norman Gunston.I wonder how many shaves on this blade
I'm reminded of an immortal quote from the late Douglas Adams:
Prep: Barrister and Mann Cool soap, Alt Innsbruck Emulsion
Brush: Omega Pro 48 Boar
Soap: Arko
Razor: Above The Tie S1
Blade: Perma Sharp (1)
Post: Alt Innsbruck Emulsion
Scent: D.R. Harris Arlington Cologne
In locations where the water quality can be an unknown quantity, I have found no soap more bulletproof than Arko.
The Great Simpson Desert is beautiful in Springtime.......

Always assumed you were a DNA fan from your Forum name.I'm reminded of an immortal quote from the late Douglas Adams:
“It can hardly be a coincidence that no language on Earth has ever produced the expression "as pretty as an airport". Airports are ugly. Some are very ugly. Some attain a degree of ugliness that can only be the result of a special effort..."
I suspect as much could be said about mining camps.
It was either that or "country member", but I wasn't sure how many people would get the joke.Always assumed you were a DNA fan from your Forum name.
