The WR2 and Feather pair up very well with the feather retaining its sharpness which is tamed to a super smooth feeling with the WR2. The shave stick continues to suprise me, excellent lather from this triple milled stick.

SOTD – Tues 8 Feb 2022

Three blade shave off.

Shave with this month’s featured soap VALOBRA MENTHOL, lightly scented with “Crisp / Fresh Mild Mentholated Barber Shop Scent”, this was my second lather with this soap and was terrific, rich and yogurty, with matching great performance. Also performed a side by comparison shave between Leaf with 3 blades loaded (on 3rd shave) and the Schick Xtreme3 sensitive cart (1st shave). The Xtreme3 felt tuggy and the goo strip was quite annoying. The Leaf was smooth and no tugging, even with 3rd use blades, the only thing the Leaf looses on is the large head is difficult under the nose. Even though both sides of the face finished with irritation free result, overall the Leaf is a clear smoother shave winner.

If you plan to use Cartridge or Disposable razors please look after the planet and recycle them through Gillette TeraCycle initiative:
