Pre-shave: Hot water, Pears soap
Brush: Forgotten Art "Tarkine" 27mm piggy-wig
Soap: Stirling Bergamot Lavender
Razor: Blackland Sabre
Blade: Personna GEM
Post-shave: Shower, homebrew moisturiser, La Roche-Posay Anthelios SPF50+, Stirling Bergamot Lavender
COTD: Shakisso Estate, Ethiopia

A smooth and gentle shave.
 
Pre-shave: Hot shower
Brush: SOC Finest Badger
Soap: SV Manna di Sicilia
Razor: Wacker Classic 2 5/8
Post-shave: Homebrew splash (Thayer's Witch Hazel + denat Alcohol + Persian Amber by Attar Bazaar)

My first attempt at making my own splash and the result isn't bad at all.

No 63 is a nice woodsy scent with a bit of spice and tobacco. Caught my attention when @nav1 posted WTB
The Claymore is definitely performing better with the Feather Pro I am even feeling the cheeks throughout teh day to check longevity and regrowth
Still uncertain on the head because it does not force an angle or naturally settle at a specific angle I find myself rocking the head looking for the sweet spot.
Maybe the Feather Pro Super will resolve this.

Another terrific shave with the Blackbird/Swede combo.

The Claymore is a lot like the Hawk in that regard, there is only a narrow sweet spot. My skin wasn't exactly sore or irritated after yesterday's Claymore/Super adventure, but I wasn't quite up for a repeat this morning, though the DBS is always a seductive thing. With the Hawk, I could easily use the Super every day.

Maybe I need to revisit the Feather Pro after all. I'll try out the PINK first though.

I love some of our artisan's creativity with names, from the DG website -

'Fake Yellow Light' is from my favorite song from my favorite album and is one of my favorite scents to date. Definitely, in my opinion, the warmest scent I've released (I've been waiting to release this one until my bones were cold and here we are, Michigan).
