Another bloody Pinaud Clubman piss aftershave with a pissing smell of bright citrus notes and lavender blended with musk & woody accents.

You really should get that nose fixed, or change your diaper. (or nappy, or Depends, or panty liner, etc.

Pre-shave: Hot water, Pears soap
Brush: Forgotten Art "Tarkine" 27mm piggy-wig
Soap: Czech & Speake - Oxford & Cambridge (Valobra)
Razor: Blackland Sabre
Blade: Personna GEM Stainless
Post-shave: Shower, homebrew moisturiser, La Roche-Posay Anthelios SPF50+
COTD: Shakisso Estate, Ethiopia

Great shave, shame about the photo. If there was any implicit "for now" in my little review of the Sabre the other day, it's safe to disregard it. This razor is definitely a keeper.

I am in Brisbane for a few days on business so have my SR travel kit with me. For this trip, I decided upon my Comoy's of London SR with an ARKO stick for face lathering. I also included in my travel kit a mini diamond pasted balsa strop and a Kyrgyzstan calf-hide leather strop.

The Filipina housemaid at my hotel was impressed that I shave with a traditional SR 😊.

Pre-shave:-
Shower
Brush:- Brad Sears - S7 Nachtgras Ebonite with 26mm Estate Badger Knot
Soap:- TOBS - Jermyn Street
Razor:- Alpha Shaving - Claymore Evolution
Blade:- Chinese no-name (2)
Aftershave:- TOBS - Jermyn Street

The LPL lives on to lather another day. I have given up on using one set until finished and neglecting all others in the den
The Estate Badger Knot is a very soft and dense knot. Cloud soft and dense enough to give backbone without being a lather hog

Prep: Valobra Glycerlanolina soap, Myrsol Emulsion
Brush: Morris & Forndran (Brad Sears) Finest Badger
Soap: NOS Haslinger Honig (tallow)
Razor: Blackland Blackbird
Blade: Vintage NOS Gillette Platinum Swede (6)
Post: Thayers Cucumber Witch Hazel, APR Acqua Di Sydney Aftershave Lotion
Scent: Christian Dior Eau Sauvage EdT

Such wonderful soap. It lathers easily, and is very slick indeed. The scent is comforting and not overly sweet.
The vintage Gillette Swede blade is oh so sharp, demanding a light touch, which rewards the user with a superclose and comfortable shave.

Give the man a break, he's been giving the LPL a good hammering for a few weeks, everybody needs a Holiday from time to time... :)

A big favourite of my dad's. I really love that scent, but I could never wear it without feeling I was treading on his turf. He's just a mere 86, so he deserves that much consideration... :p

@Gargravarr - good call. It is certainly old school, but more of a restrained '60s vibe, as opposed to the many powerhouse fougères of the '70s and '80s.
