Pre-shave:- Shower
Brush:- Troycraft Aluminium 24mm Bulb
Soap:- Saponificio Varesino 70th Anniversary
Blade:- Wizamet (6)
Aftershave:- Saponificio Varesino 70th Anniversary

Razor:- Timeless 0.68 SS OC Scalloped Cap

After yesterdays shave with the SS 0.68 OC in titanium razor decided to keep the full SS head and play with lighter handles.
The SSC19 isn't the prettiest handle but very well balanced with Timeless Stainless Steel base plate and cap
Handle up for grabs? ;)

Pre-shave: Hot water, Pears soap
Brush: Forgotten Art "Southern Skies" 30mm Snow Leopard
Soap: Castle Forbes Lavender
Razor: Blackland Sabre
Blade: Personna GEM (8,1)
Post-shave: Shower, homebrew moisturiser, La Roche-Posay Anthelios SPF50+, Oxford & Cambridge cologne
COTD: Mandheling Sumatra

If I was desperate, I could have pushed the blade beyond 8 shaves, but I'm not. So I didn't. Shaving head and face makes that a lot of mileage, and nothing to be ashamed of.

Pre-shave: Cold shower
Soap: Meissner Tremonia Dark Limes
Brush: Oumo 26mm LotusTip
Razor: Lupo Dual Comb 72/95 with Timeless titanium handle
Blade: Super Iridium
Post-Shave: SV 70th Aftershave Balm

The junction box for our well pump shorted out last night. It took a couple of hours to find a replacement so it was a late shave.

I always get an outstanding shave from my Razorock Lupo razors, both the 72 and 95, and they’re even better with upgraded handles.

SV aftershave balm has alcohol so burns a little but is very soothing, and doesn’t leave a sticky residue even on the most humid days.

Pre-shave: Hot shower
Brush: Vintage butterscotch Simpson shaving brush
Soap/Cream: Stirling Soap Co Stirling Gentleman shaving soap
Razor: Muhle R95 Rocca Birch Bark handle
Blade: Polsilver 'Brown' (2)
Post-shave: Stirling Soap Co Stirling Gentleman splash
Fragrance: Miller Harris feuille de tabac EDP

So nice!

Great looking shave you had @TomG - now THAT is clearly not at a mining camp

But soon to be so. And I'm running low on my 'cure-all' wonder balm for travel - Alt Innsbruck Pre-Post Emulsion.
Have a stick of Roll-on Myrsol Emulsion as backup.

Handle up for grabs? ;)
You have one up for grabs?
I like the heavier 14x100 Barberpole with the milder scalloped baseplate but just trying lighter handles with the more aggressive OC, probably the blade mileage is contributing to milder shaves as well
Have considered adding a few Timeless scratch and dent handles to the collection since mentioned by JVS. Good quality solid SS handles at a reasonable price. But why add a handle when you can add the whole razor :X3: Although some of Russians looked more aesthetic and ergonomic. My current favorite handle overall for looks and feel would be the Apollo.

SOTD – WED 30 MAR 2022
Aussie Wednesday with Squadron – DUTCH RESISTANCE. Squadron uses a WWII Air Force themes in their artwork and names that are reminiscent of the British 'Commando' Comics and are based in the rural outskirts of the Barossa Valley in South Australia, they have been making shaving soap since 2015. Scent described as: “This is a unique soap that quite simply smells just like black licorice. Surprisingly a refreshing scent in this shaving soap!”

🎥Shave VIDEO🎥

Shave Result: For me Squadron is a reliable soap base that produces a creamy, medium density lather with excellent performance, I classify the soap as a strong Tier 2 performer. Scent was as described a fresh black licorice aroma that is not overpowering, scent strength 6/10. Set the Progress to 2.5 for first and second passes, then 1.5 for third pass and pick-ups. Overall an awesome DFS, zero irritations.

Just curious, which level plate do you use with the Sabre? Or if you have both, which do you prefer?

Pre-shave: Cold shower
Soap: Tabac
Brush: Yaqi Aqua Silver Tip
Razor: Alpha Outlaw Copper (Mild)
Blade: Super Iridium
Post-shave: Witchhazel, SV Desert Vetiver Aftershave Balm

What a shave!!!

I’ve been struggling a little to get along with my new Outlaw, and then today I get what’s up there with the closest shave I’ve ever had. I even comfortably went ATG under the nose.

The Outlaw Mild seems to need a steeper blade angle than I’m used to, and multiple small buffing strokes too. Perhaps I should have bought the regular plate but the copper razors are out of stock now.

My newish Yaqi 26mm Silver Tip still has some scritch…needs more breaking in. A nicely dense brush though, and good backbone too. Great value.
