Brrr, 'feels like' maximum of 11 today

Great shave though

Pre: Proraso red pre-shave cream
Brush: TF Customs 2 band finest
Soap: Beaver Woodwright - Aladdin's Spice
Razor: Asylum Evolution
Blade: Minora #1
After: Alum block, Stray Whisker after-balm, Beaver Woodwright - Aladdin's Spice

After a scary start with this razor when we met a year ago, I'm now loving it more and more with each shave.
No more bloody hostilities, thanks hugely to improving lather and shave techniques over the same time period.
Lots of other razors missing out on a turn at the moment. A fine shaver indeed.
The scent on this soap and after shave is just brilliant. Love those manly spice scents.
Dunno what they are but I know I like it!

That brush is  Razor ain't half bad too lol.

This morning's shave was with a Titan ACRM-2 T.H.60, 6/8, half-hollow, Dutch point, dressed in Madagascan Mahogany scales, maintained on diamond pasted balsa and stropped on Kyrgyzstan calf-hide.

Soap was a tallow Tabac stick, face-lathered with a generic Chinese synthetic brush.

Passes were WTG, XTG + fool's pass and another XTG in the opposite direction. This shave was so comfortable, resulting in my typical DFS+.

Sent from my little bit of paradise.

My apology for the not-so-perfect edge. The photo was taken before I had stropped on clean denim to clean the edge after the shave.

I have two of these SR's that are identical. I often use them in comparisons when changing something in my routine. To tell them apart, I painted the tail of this SR with black nail polish.

Pre-shave: Hot water, Pears soap
Brush: Troycraft "Opalesque" 28mm AP G5C
Soap: Czech & Speake - Oxford & Cambridge (Valobra)
Razor: Blackland Sabre
Blade: Personna GEM
Post-shave: Shower, homebrew moisturiser, La Roche-Posay Anthelios SPF50+, Oxford & Cambridge cologne
COTD: Mandheling Sumatra

I've learned to not worry about using up my remaining Valobra too quickly. I've got a fairly reasonable stash that should last me a few years...

Breaking with tradition today and using some recently acquired gear instead of the usual hardware

Pre-shave:- Shower
Soap:- GEO.F.Trumper's - Spanish Leather
Bowl:- Limited Edition P&C 2019 Auction Grey Bowl by Avalon Pottery
Brush:- Maseto - Buffalo Horn 2-Band Finest 20mm Badger MSH4
Razor:- Boker The Celebrated Wenge 6/8
Aftershave:- Santa Maria Del Fiore Lozione Dopo-Barba By RazoRock

Another Maseto 2-Band Finest punching way above it's price point. This brush was less than AU$50 posted
The boker had the badge missing and a small chip on the tip. Nothing a bit of glue and stone work couldn't fix
Wonderful shave. It is so hot here today that 1Hr later I feel like my pores still have not closed and that was with aftershave
Bowl lathered to break the brush in but I must admit I prefer working the soap and oils straight into my skin by face lathering.

Soap, balm and EDT pretty good too, and that is a fine razor - not to speak of the awesome lather bowl!
