Very good shaving cream.

I saw it once at the straywhisker and was contemplating grabbing one for head shaving but the reviews turned me away as consensus was very mild shave and concerns on QC as mostly plastic and not sure whether it was readily available from the bromanshaving website...?

Good to see Rosie is getting lots and lots of quality time with her new pet. :p

@Wilkshire13 the head design doesn’t look very good shaving under the bloody nose, it’s okay for your hairy chest, head and your pinky little willy.
Otherwise this type of head design isn’t suitable for me as a travel razor, might be suitable for @Mark1966
It definitely takes some effort to get under the nose, but doesn't do a perfect job of it.

After first use, it is a fairly mild shave, with minimal blade feel, but I felt like it was very efficient as the first pass on 3 days growth left me feeling smooth. A feather or kai maybe next up in this razor to test it further. It looks like the head is mostly plastic, but the body is metal. Seems fairly sturdy in hand and during use

been quite a while so took out the 6C for a spin, results were excellent but not quite a smooth a shave as I have gotten used to with the WR2, Rocca and Lupo's, still a great shave.

This triple milled soap reminds me a lot of the original Fine soap. I get an exceptional looking lather but it seems like it lacks protection, ended up a rough feeling shave which I wasnt overly impressed with.. little blood but nothing terrible.

started first pass with the same blade I have used for a while but was a little rough so I thought that was the end of the blade, changed it over to a new blade but the roughness persisted.. has to be this soap... which is strange cos my mate swears by it and we have pretty much the same YMMV status on gear

anyone else have experience with this soap?

Appreciate the feedback and I noticed they recommended Permasharp half blades as they're a very sharp blade.

The second outing for my new custom S.K. Colling SR from Proserpine, Queensland, Australia, (reported on here). Yesterday was its first shave and was done as received. That shave was very comfortable and close. Just a bit more pressure than normal was required against the whiskers in the fool's pass.

After yesterday's shave, I put this blade through a full pasted balsa strop progression. This morning's shave was noticeably better in the fool's pass but their is still room for improvement.

full

I will continue to put this blade through a full balsa progression between each shave until there is no more noticeable improvement.

I really do take delight in shaving with this SR. I can see it one day overtaking my Gold Dollar W59 as the most favoured.

I used to look forward to your classy SOTD pics, now I confess I'm at least as interested in your dog walks!
