Prep: Valobra Glycerlanolina soap, Myrsol Emulsion
Brush: Tony Forsyth P&C LE 2020 Matilda Rhodium 2-band Silvertip Badger
Soap: Sir Irisch Moos
Razor: Wolfman WR1
Blade: Vintage NOS Personna P74 (1)
Post: Thayers Cucumber Witch Hazel, Bootlegger's Green Freeze Aftershave Lotion
Scent: Amouage Epic Man

The tallow base Maurer and Wirtz used until recently for both Tabac and Sir Irisch Moos is legendary. Sadly now gone (as is Sir Irisch Moos soap); those that retain stocks will be rewarded by many years of excellent performance.
I like the scent of Tabac; I really like the scent of Sir Irisch Moos.
The Wolfman WR1 paired with the vintage P74 blade is a match made in heaven. A very smooth and extremely close shave, and a wonderful post shave from the soap.

Razor: Vintage Gillette 'Fatboy' (6)

Two identical Titan ACRO T.H.64 SR's for this morning's shave. One (Ebony scales) for the RH side and the other (Mahogany scales) for the LH side. I need to get the edges of both these razors shaving to the same high standard for a test that I am looking to do.

Also my first use of La Toja shaving soap stick. I found its lather to be much more voluminous than my other sticks. I probably applied to much soap to my face. Will try it with less soap applied tomorrow.

Both SR's shaved almost identically. The Ebony SR was not quite as keen with the fool's pass so I will give it a full balsa strop progression before the next comparison tomorrow.

I think it performs quite well, a good all rounder. PM me your address and I'll put some in the post for you to try.

That's a pretty apt description, I find that while I wouldn't rate them up there with the best, it's still a good soap to shave with and their scents are very blokey.

I bought a couple of Long Rifle soaps and aftershaves (Brown Bess and Hunting Lodge) when The Wet Shaving Co still stocked it and quite enjoy putting them into rotation every now and then.

Yeah, his review was very favourable! That's why it got my attention. Just one of the ones I'm interested in... Lol

="MadFlava81, post: 200455, member: 2135"]Very good Stainless Steel razor for USD $100. When I bought it, ATT even had free international shipping which made the deal even better.

Unfortunately, I have not tried any alternatives in the same price bracket such as RazoRock Gamechanger, Muhle Rocco R94 etc. , so I can not offer any comparison...

Check out the reviews under the Saftey Razor section, @Errol has a lot of great reviews including one for this razor. @nav1 also has a great review of it.[/QUOTE]

Pre Shave: Hot Towel
Razor: Boker Abalone 6/8
Soap: B&M Taiga
Brush: YAQI Viper Boar
Post: B&M Taiga Aftershave Balm

I'm still undecided whether or not I like this scent. I really didn't when I first opened the tub but it settled down after I shaved with it to the point where I can wear it but, it still remains a bit of a disappointment., I love B&M but I can't recommend this one.
Shame, Taiga was one of the few new releases that interested me from B&M. Hit me up if you feel like swapping something for it :D

Pre-shave:- Shower
Brush:- SMILEZ4MILEZ Grapevine (AKA The Shedding Dog)

Razor:- Alpha Claymore

Aftershave:- A&E Grecian Horse

I used @rhodes96 thumb rating to influence purchases this past year and glad I did.
Grecian Horse is a deliciously sweet and grungy dark woody oriental but not too sweet
Full of amber goodness. The Claymore and I are getting to know each others quirks.
Swapping the handle has made a world of difference to shave experience

Razor: Yaqi tile / Delorean
Blade: Bic chrome platinum
Soap: B&M Seville
Brush: Yaqi Plisson 24mm

I just received the razor last night... And heard people have good results with the Bic blades as a daily, mild razor. I'd just shaved yesterday and based on the Tile's reputation as a foolproof razor decided I'd just jump right in, in a rush. It actually worked surprisingly well. No nicks or cuts, some feedback from the alum, and not super smooth, but given the haste and pace, with a new razor... Impressive. My neck has some razor burn, so I'm not sure if that is technique or not enough post shave care, but I'm keen to use the razor again, perhaps with a Nacet... And maybe a touch slower :)

I've had the Delorean for several weeks now and I find it goes well with Cloud Blades. I've also use Feather blades which aren't too bad either. Next time I'm going to throw an Astra in to try.

I find with this razor, it seems to work better when held almost perpendicular to your face rather than the traditional 30 degrees.
