Literally the first use, hence the questions

I suspected it might take some time after the morning rush it created. Oh.. and when I squeeze lather out, the soap is picking up a brown colour? Is that normal as it gets washed and used a few times?

My first use of the Oumo Lotustip was bad too. It's much better now after the 5th or so use. Maybe just needed to get the dye and natural hair oils out? Is that a thing?

It's some type of Eucalyptus, as it is bearing gumnuts (there are many varieties). Grevilleas (bottle brush) are different .

"A gumnut is the woody fruit of a eucalyptus tree. In Australia, eucalyptus trees, of which there are many (about 700 species before they split it and called half of it something else) are called gum trees. Hence the fruit they produce is called gumnuts. They are non-edible, woody vessels usually shaped like a sealed cup. They come in an amazing variety of shapes and sizes. "

Bottlebrush trees are from the Callistemon family. Some Grevillia have flowers that look similar, but they are a different family.

That's a nice looking razor @Hos the Gong has caught my eye a few times when searching for bargain vintage razors but none in such pristine condition. Must be the Extra German(ness)

Thanks @Holiday. It is indeed a very special razor, the blade is ground unbelievably thin. Even gently tapping on the razor elicits a nice "singing hollow sound" from the razor.
