Following a thread in another shaving forum about Mastro Livi’s honing technique with 3K synth, Coti and Ark brought me back to P&C and the Mastro Livi School but unfortunately links are broken in the original thread and had to search you tube for the playlist.

Didnt hit the stones with tonight’s razor but sharpened a few knives this arvo. Decided to revisit the loom strop with paste as Mastro Livi recommends, and I had moved away from in recent times trying alternate methods such as: diamond pastes, balsa strops and edge straight off the stones. Also used some of Luigi Migni’s technique while shaving especially wiping lather off the blade on the palm during the shave meant less disruption rinsing the blade and drying the hands.

Overall, a very pleasant shave experience

First shave with Mike's Natural, and it was terrific. Scent was the same as Shannon's (which it what I was hoping), performance was as good or better. Thanks to @bernie01 for helping a Kiwi brother out!

The Yaqi Tachi shaved similarly to the ATT Calypso. There was a bit of blade crunch while tightening as the posts were tight with the Personna Super. A good effort by Yaqi.
