Arrived this afternoon well packed from Serbia. Honed a blade for this shave.
Handle is my mod this afternoon to see how it performs.
Soap Vitos Red
Brush an AliExpress "cashmere" synthetic. Great size brush but the handle is a bit slippery. I will fix that with some 1200 grit wet and dry.

Before you possibly take the shine off the brush handle, try applying some Dubin wax. Apply, let dry for about 30 minutes and then polish. Works well for me and remains effective for a few months of daily shaving.

Pre-shave:- Shower
Brush:- Troycraft - Larrakeyah
Soap:- Le Pere Lucien - Le Savon du Barbier
Razor:- GC_84-P
Blade:- Gillette 7 O'clock (6)
Aftershave:- Stirling - WHAM

First time Gillette 7 O'clock have impressed. Bought a few tucks after @Gargravarr mentioned they were his favourite DE before abandoning the DE fray and swearing fealty to the modern Single Edge.
TBH I was a bit underwhelmed in previous shaves but the blades have redeemed themselves in the GC_84-P
May be another week in the LPL with a soap destroyer (AKA Synthetic G5C and bowl lathering).
Probably a month normal use with a natural bristle. ¯\_( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)_/¯

Spoiling myself this morning with some favourite gear as consolation for getting danger close to 60 (58). I was looking for my Drachenblut soap to go with the Sangre De Drago but couldn’t find it. Beautiful shave. :)
We like to do big breakys for birthdays and Mothers Day so maybe an XL breakfast is in order. :) I’m thinking maple bacon and coffee. I think Mrs Pbgoose is thinking coffee and fruit mix (a blended creamy with rolled oats, almost smoothie). So, off to the kitchen.
 
Pre-shave:- Cool Shower
Bowl/Scuttle:- Captain's Choice
Brush:- Stirling Finest Badger 26/54mm bulb knot
Soap/Cream:- Stirling Soap ~ Sharp Dressed Man
Razor/Blade:- Blackbird Lite SB Polished / Gillette Nacet #7
Post/After-shave:- T.N. Dickinson Witch Hazel Astringent mixed into the 240ml bottle with Invite E High Potency Pure Oil (10 drops), Natural Plant Glycerin (20) & Tea Tree Oil Antiseptic (5)
Moisturising Cream:- Aveeno Active Naturals Daily Fragrance-Free (for autumn & winter season)
Fragrance:- L'Occitane Baux
