Prep: Valobra Glycerlanolina soap, Myrsol Emulsion
Brush: Rudy Vey Shavemac Silvertip Badger
Soap: Wholly Kaw La Fougère Parfaite
Razor: Merkur Futur (2)
Blade: Vintage Schick Plus Platinum (1)
Post: Thayers Cucumber Witch Hazel / Myrsol Emulsion
Scent: Knize Forest

The planets aligned for a belter of a shave. The Wholly Kaw soap was great as usual, but the star of the show was the vintage Schick blade in the Futur. So sharp and buttery smooth; demolished a four day growth effortlessly. Three passes and a couple of touch-up buffs, and I am BBS as grinning :D. To match the soap scent, finished off with the startling fougère that is Knize Forest.

So much to do around the house package boxes getting ready to move in 3 weeks for my mother is going pretty quick, my mother is still mentally scared, stressed and very emotional about her home.

My father will be out of the Sydney Clinic mental hospital on Monday and will be moving into RSL LifeCare retirement villages in Narrabeen, my mother will be living very close by in the same complex as my brother that way she'll feel safe.

Semogue Boar, Haslinger Ringelblumen, Bengall, Witch Hazel, Nivea, Jovan Musk
It's been a few days between shaves and as usual the Bengall handled the task admirably.Another slick, thick lather from the Haslinger allowing the blade to glide easily with plenty of residual slickness for touch ups.A relaxing two pass shave.
It's been a busy week, purchasing a 2001 Ford AU Fairmont on Sunday, previously owned by one older fellow since new and immaculately maintained and serviced since.Disappointed to retire the LTD,but finding a working transmission for a reasonable monetary exchange was not possible.Very strange how a six cylinder full sized sedan feels like a small car after the V8 limousine.
So transport sorted, and can now get back into our twice weekly training routine in town which we have missed.

Pre-Shave: SebaMed, cold water
Razor: Rex Ambassador (2-3)
Blade: Ladas (1)
Brush: Tony Forsyth Platypus Prototype Bob Quinn Manchurian
Lather: Stirling Bay Rum
Post-Shave: Alum, Thayers Original Alcohol Free Witch Hazel, South Australian Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Actually had planed to change razors, but 5 days worth of growth is exactly why you want an adjustable in your rotation. First pass on 3 and subsequent passes on 2 gave me a wonderful shave - the beautiful Stirling lather whipped up by the magnificent Platypus certainly added to the overall brilliant shave.

I hope you all have a fantastic Friday (y)

Quick shave this morning to try and be on time for kids ballet etc. Nice lather from this cream and a good post shave feel from the post shave gel. I don't love the scent, but all in all a decent shave.
