Yesterday mail call:-

This is going to be my travel razor a RazoRock Quick-Change DE Safety Razor not bad for $20 AUD in total including delivery.

Bloody hell, there is not much that RR Joe does not have his hand in these days :D

For $20 delivered, I'd like to hear how it shaves :)

Another superb piece from P&C's resident limited edition, unobtainable 'kit' procurer extraordinaire.

A very unique piece indeed. Nice job as per usual @alfredus blowing us all away with your exotic acquisitions!

I got a great present from my Son YB today and just did a lather test on the Fine Shave Soap with a Semogue 1250 & well easy as slipping on Ice, fluffed up like in no time at all and tons of it lather was thick & creamy. Application was a breeze density on the face was medium to deep and the scent was menthol but not uncomfortable very fresh feeling. Will give it a spin with tomorrows shave for comfort & slickness & let ya know how it goes. The Fine All American Aftershave Splash well in one word Brilliant.

Some more Beauty & Bees products - some alternatives with a focus on scalp health:

I was curious about one of the samples - Apple Silk Clarifying Rinse powder. Seems you mix with water to make it up.

Promoted on the website as 'As a traveller you will love this as it is portable and not liquid!' - yeah, cause I would not want to travel with 100ml of liquid, I would prefer to be carrying a small plastic baggie of white powder ...

Well the update on performance. As tested yesterday lathered easy as Used a Semogue 1350 today (Slapper) The Cushion & Slickness on passes was amazing did not need any more water, moisture on passes throughout the whole shave

Happiest purchase to date. The lot for $100, minor chips on edge, wouldn't affect the honing face.

:Flabbergasted:
What a bargain!!!?!!!
Poor seller but happy you...

Well spotted @silver - that'll well and truly take care of your synthetic needs. Now for some Jnats....

For those who haven't been lucky enough to try Shapton Glass Stones, they really are the business : very clean, fast cutting, very long wearing (less lapping required), and the binding agent is snow white, so it's easy to see how much swarf is being produced.

Their grit ratings don't line up all that well with other manufacturers like Naniwa, Suehiro Rika etc. A 2K Shapton Glass is very close performance wise to a !K Naniwa, but the scratch pattern is noticeably shallower, which means a bit less work at the next stage. The only possible downside is that they are such fast cutters, you need to monitor your work closely to avoid over-honing. (y)

I picked up this brush about a week and a half ago and have not got around to posting some pictures. The brush is extremely luxurious and has really soft bristles (that are already starting to hook at the tips quite nicely) but still has enough backbone for face lathering. I will be keenly comparing to the two band version that is also on it's way. I have some otehr brushes coming also but I suspect that they will be worlds apart from this in terms of softness.
