Beautiful example of a Super Gloria Japanese "Smiling Blade". Hopefully it will lead to a smiling shaver
Just a stunning razor.

As always simply beautiful - but I wouldn't expect anything less from you my friend

The X3 is an excellent razor but an interesting choice if you have not use a slant before. Be mindful that in my experience (and some here have echoed this opinion) this particular razor appears to work better at a shallower angle (handle further from the face) and the point where you cannot feel the blade at all but the razor is working appears to be the optimum angle. I found the angle to be less intuitive than some others.
New acquisitions:
Tabac shave cream
iKon X3 slant (head only)
Purchased these through Connaught Shaving. The X3 was from their “seconds” section, but there are no blemishes that I can detect; awesome. Can’t wait to try the slant, I’ve never used one before.

Nice man! Love that Proraso Sandlewood scent, I want to get that aftershave as well.
Recent acquisitions from Men’s Biz:

Cella Cream
Looking forward to the next shave.
A 13kg+ box arrived at work today...
@shavetheman has seen a pic of some items, @SydBJW has some in his possession and I've still a floor full of items
I hope this doesn't dry out my skin too much and I'm looking for to this shaving soap very soon with my new RazorRock Old Type OC.
My excuse is that it's coming up to Jewish New Year when us mob eat lots of apple and honey. So in a way it's a religious artefact. In a hundred years a young child will go through great-grand dad's "old" stuff and wonder what the old bloke was thinking when he had an abstract model of a bumble bee made.
Looks good, it isn't an abstract model of a bumble bee - is it
I'll stop now. Well maybe one more comment.
Congrats it is a beautifully crafted brush.
